About us, (Jaida & Todd)
We love Seattle & the Northwest! Todd & I are twins, operating as 'The Twin Team' to provide an affordable and great place to stay while in Seattle.
Todd and I have partnered together, brains, beauty & resources, :) , to make this home a great place to stay for alternative lodging. I have operated 4 vacation rentals, this being the 5th vacation home and 5th year. I continue to operate the Urban LOft Style Townhome in the West Seattle Junction.
Todd loves sailing, hiking, trails & nature! Some of the things he loves about this house is the close proximity to Green Lake, the PCC, numerous restaurants, U-District Farmers' Market, Yoga Studios, and bonfires at Golden Gardens Beach & Shilshole Waterfront Marina. He also loves being able to get around without a car, (and did so for 5 yrs living at this home.) Public Transit is very convenient!
Todd can direct you to pretty much anywhere you need to go & has provided bus route info in the guest book. For a relaxing trip to Seattle, Todd suggests you try taking the Seattle Express Bus Route, (MT DOWNTOWN -SEATTLE EXPRESS). The Northgate Transit Ctr is just 4-5 blocks away, ( see photo) and also there's a bus stop right around the corner from the house.
Like my brother, I love walking Green Lake, bonfires too, (above is our 41st b-day, Seattle beach bonfire.) I also love to visit Pike's Place Market, ice-cream while strolling Pier 67, watching the boats at Ballard Locks, Alki Water Taxi, and our many spots for finding great SEAFOOD! :)

Please note, there are stairs to this property and therefor, not recommended for disabled or elderly. We request that ages of all anticipated guests be disclosed in the inquiry notes, including children, infants, and toddlers. Prior to accepting your reservation. We will review, and make sure the Tudor is a suitable fit.

Dining Table: Currently seated for 4, or, put the extra leaf in & seats 6. (2 extra covered chairs there)
Upstairs: We call this a '2nd Living Rm/ Sleeping Loft'
It has a 47' TV /Flat Screen, 1 new queen bed with a cushy, comfortable memory foam mattress, & two new single beds that double as a couches, memory foam mattresses -beautiful hardwood floors, & sitting area.
GROUND FLOOR & HLF DAYLIGHT BASEMENT: Sleeping Den downstairs, half bath/shower, new, 50' wall mounted electric fireplace. 32' Flat screen TV, new front loading washer, & dryer.
Ground FLOOR WITH DOOR TO GARAGE- Garage-1 CAR
Owner is quick to respond and easy to work with. House is close to shopping and freeway. House is older than pictures portrayed and not as updated. No airconditioner so house was very hot, we used the fans provided but was uncomfortable to sleep. Laundry area is part of the downstairs bedroom closed off by a curtain. Stairs are steep as others noted. City required recycling, but no bins provided, and outside /curbside bin was full on our arrival so we could not use during our stay. We were told by neighbors it only gets picked up every other week / not our week. We took our trash/recycling to friends throughout the week but could not do that on the way to the airport. We left bags in kitchen with a note but this was considered unacceptable. Advise you to read the agreement completely and take your own pictures upon arrival and departure. It may save you your deposit!
Enjoyed our stay at this house in Seattle! Beds very comfortable, kids loved the loft. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Todd was very responsive when we had a problem with the Wifi and quickly resolved the problem. The house was very conveniently located and a quick drive down 99 takes you easily downtown to the Space Needle and Pikes Place Market. I highly recommend this house. Btw there's a screen hidden for the front door ... Found it late in our stay and it was really nice having it open while sitting in the living room and dining room. So be sure to look for it!!
What you see is what you get. The photos depict the home quite well. It is a small, charming, older home (squeaky floors and doors included) but it definitely met our needs. Todd responds quickly and has thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. There were 8 of us and we knew before we arrived the two small bathrooms would be a sharing experience :-). The two bedrooms on the main floor work well. If you have problems with stairs, the two sets of stairs to the basement bedroom and the upstairs bedroom are both steep. Our group, however, managed them easily. The house is just inside a quiet neighborhood with a bus stop very close by (an easy walk). The location was perfect for touring Seattle, as well as traveling to Lynnwood and Edmonds for our son's wedding activities. We would be very happy to stay here again.
The house was ideal for our needs - two families, two kids each, shared very comfortably. Quiet neighborhood within walking or quick driving distance to basic needs. Appreciated the amenities provided and the clear communication from Todd.
We really enjoyed staying at Green Lake Tudor. It was a comfortable place for the seven of us....even though it is not an overly large house we never felt like we were cramped or tripping over each other. Convenient location and easy to get to wherever. House was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely book this house again.
