This gorgeous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in Hi Country Haus (building 22, unit 13) includes a fully remodeled, fully furnished kitchen with granite counter tops and Viking stove island. It has a dining table that seats 6 comfortably with extra chairs if you want to squeeze more! Flat screen TV's with digital cable included. Two Queen size beds plus a pull out couch with Memory foam top, able to sleep 6 total. Located on the 3rd Floor with 3 beautiful skylights in master bedroom, master bathroom, and living room allowing for great natural lighting. Total living 1124 sq ft. Large wood burning fireplace with stack able washer and dryer in the unit. Very quiet location! Perfect for families.

There is no dedicated wifi in the unit. There is an Xfinity hotspot, if you have to an account. There is wifi in the recreation center.

Why Richard Ferriss chose Winter Park

We have been coming to Winter Park since 2007 and have been in love with it ever since our first trip. We moved to Denver June 2012 and knew we wanted to have a place in Winter park so that we could visit this wonderful town year round. It's a beautiful place to visit!

What makes this condo unique

Fully remodeled and completely furnished kitchen with granite counter tops and Viking stove island. Flat screen TV's with digital cable. Two Queen size beds with pull out couch with optional memory foam top. Though it is on the 3rd Floor, it is more quiet as there is no one above you. Plus, you get that added bonus of having 3 beautiful skylights throughout the condo allowing for great natural light.

Clean, but no AC or working dryer

My family of four stayed here over 4th of July week. The condo was close to restaurants & shops, clean, had a very nice kitchen, and living area, but it was advertised as having AC (which once we got there found out it did not, washer/dryer in unit (however the dryer was not working so we had to use the laundry mat), and pool access.

Upon arriving and not being able to find the AC on the thermostat, I emailed the owner and his response was that none of the units have AC, and it's cool at night anyway. I've been to Colorado many times in the summer and realize it's cooler there; however I have MS and underwent chemo earlier this year, and get hot very easily which affects my symptoms, and is why we were looking for a place with AC.

The newly built rec center was nice, has washer/dryers, and a very nice pool and several hot tubs. The only downside of it was that the pool key card rarely worked. We would have to hope that someone was in there already to let us in when it decided not to work.

Overall this condo was a good place to stay, but the owner really should take the AC amenity off the listing, and they should look into getting a working pool card.

Pleasant and convenient stay

The condo was quiet and central to what we needed. Parking was great, unit was clean. Had everything we needed (although I looked for an iron and only found an empty iron box). The kitchen was upgraded and there was plenty of space. Beds were comfy and skylights were pretty. Owners were quick to respond to questions. We would stay again. We knew it had stairs but if you are not prepared or cant walk stairs, you will be tired! Thank you!

Beautiful place with great location, but...

....if you want to use the hot tub and pool at the Rec center next door, make sure they've fixed the key card pass as I only got in ONCE in the 5 days I was there. I pounded on the glass the last night and someone took pity on me and let me in. Not necessarily the owners fault but it should not be listed as a "perk" if you can't access it. (even the guy who was waiting to close up said HE had trouble getting in) The owner had me go down and get a new key card, but it only worked one time. Lights burned out or missing so not sure how the cleaning crew saw to clean (especially in my bathroom as I showered in the dark the first two days until bulbs were dropped off) Other then that, if you cook you have a great kitchen (though we ate out each meal) to use, comfy beds to sleep in, and a great fireplace to stay warm by. TV and microwave could be updated as was hard to watch the NCAA Tourney games each night.

Good Deal in Winter Park: Needs some Extras

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this condo. Pros: Great kitchen for 4 people to share, right at WP bus stop, easy to walk to bus to Fraser that takes you to store, owners were responsive to problems, recreation center has a pool and several hot tubs as well as restrooms and showers and its very close by. Cons: Heating is inconsistent throughout--1 room hot, others cold, no hangers in closets, no on sight management for condo or rec center. Hot tubs were not filled well and didn't seem to be checked regularly.
