Six of us (4 adults and 2 kids) stayed at this beautiful condo to attend a family wedding. The condo is decorated beautifully and the lay out is very nice. Two large bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. The views of the marina to wake up to were gorgeous and the pool was nice to cool off in during the hot, sticky summer. We cooked a large dinner one night and found the kitchen to have everything required. This is my fourth time renting from the VRBO site and I love having a home to come to rather than a hotel. Condo's owner was very attentive and made sure we were all doing well. Highly recommended!
I booked this condo for my husband as a surprise trip! He was so excited when I told him that the owner had made arrangements for us to bring our boat and dock it literally down in the marina just in front & off from our balcony! This condo was ideal for our family & last minute vacation. LA was exceptional to work with. It seemed every day I had another request and she was very helpful in seeing to it that all our needs were met. And did so without hesitation. The convenience of having our boat made the trip even better. We literally were out on Clear Lake and in the bay every day, & at times 2 to 3 times a day. The highlight was the two trips we took boating out to Galveston and down to West Beach. The weather and surf were perfect for each trip and watching the dolphins play all around our boat was an added bonus! Along with the nightly rides out along the Kemah Boardwalk and out to the bay to drift and see the sights and sounds from the bay! Awesome!
The condo was furnished with everything we could possibly need & then some. The secure location of the garage, parking, & gated community~ exceptional. Even the maintenance guys & condo residents were extremely helpful, repeatedly asking if we needed anything or help. The photos reflect exactly the appearance & was very well maintained. As an example of how well we were taken care of... we brought along our 5 yr old Maltese and LA (owner) made sure that Cozmo had a dog tag with her phone # just in case something happened to him while visiting Kemah. :0)
I can't think of anything negative to say about the KoKoMo! It certainly came through as exactly what we had seen on VRB0 & the experience a very pleasant one! No doubt we will return and hope to do so again very soon!
The condo is clean & beautifully decorated & we loved the balcony. We sat out every morning drinking coffee & every evening winding down. It was really great sitting there looking at the water & the boats. Beautiful view. The location was extremely convenient. Very close to Kemah & great restaurants. The underground parking spot was perfect... right by the elevator. We used the stairs too but it sure was nice to be a few steps from elevator when we had extra things to carry. We have rented many places through VRBO. This was definitely one of our very favorites. The owner was nice to work with. I highly recommend it.
Clean, open, spacious home with awesome marina views. Quiet, safe and comfortable place for our stay of 2 couples. Our vehicle was under cover and behind a secured access gate. Many activities to do in the area and L.A., the owner, was great to work with. She was quick to reply to all emails, phone calls and helped us out whenever we needed her. Thanks L.A. for all your help and we would stay here again!
This Condo is amazing and the owner is beyond awesome!!!! My husband and I stayed here for one week with our grandson and we were very comfortable. From the start we felt welcome and at home. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay without any concerns.
The Condo is tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated, well equipped and conveniently located to everything anyone would want to do or need to have. The view from the Condo is astonishing. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
We absolutely had a great time!!!! It is so beautiful and peaceful here none of us wanted to leave. When we visit Kemah again we will definitely consider returning here first and highly recommend this place to all our family and friends!!!!
This has been the first bad experience we had had on this site after years of using it.
The amenities were not accurate to the posted description:
it promised a outdoor grill (couldnt use-violated fire code),
a bunkbed in one of the rooms for kids (nope again, upon arrival, the bunkbed was there, but the ladder to use it had been removed which prevented access),
none of the remote controls or electronics worked properly,
Kitchen equipment barely adequate
I accept that things are sometimes off from the description for a VRBO rental, but the main reason this was a bad experience was the owner.
From the time we began negotiating the rental, the owner kept creating stipulations and additions to the original agreement that all would incur costs if not followed. For example-
garbage disposal procedures
Mandatory A/C settings,
kids on certain furniture prohibitions.
All of which had additional monetary penalties if not complied with.
Owner also attempted to change the terms of the original deal- We rented for a week and made the mistake of telling her that we would be leaving a day early, she changed the dates in the contract to show that we HAD to leave the day early.
Owner also required us to register our CC info on some other site not associated with VRBO for damage deposit. This was optional before we signed agreement and basically became mandatory afterward. I had provided this info already in the rental agreement but she demanded that it be done on that site.
Then when we initially paid, a mix up occurred and the rental payment to her did not go through. The insurance premium purchased on VRBO that she requires in addition and over your CC deposit did however. She resubmitted the full bill to me and got paid the insurance premium fee we had already paid. I asked and asked about this refund and finally 3 weeks after our stay she came back that we owed her for almost 50 bucks in banking fees and the refund was going to be reduced. The amount she said she would refund was so minor it made the whole thing the final slap to the face.
Would not recommend.

In consideration of the money received and mutual promises contained herein, the Owner of the subject property does hereby lease and rent to Tenant the certain property described herein and under the following terms and conditions. Unit information, rental rate and other financial data are set forth in this lease. This vacation rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in. ADVANCE RENT PAYMENT 50% of the rental rate, cleaning fee and security deposit must be received at time of booking (generally within 48 hours). Cashier check or Paypal are acceptable. BALANCE DUE Balance due must be received 30 days prior to arrival. (Owner may grant exceptions from time to time.) For reservations made within 30 days to arrival, all funds are due immediately. SECURITY DEPOSIT Owner will purchase security insurance in lieu of a security deposit. CANCELLATIONS/ TRANSFERS Cancellations must be received in writing. No refunds will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid shall be forfeited. (Owner may from time to time agree to allow transfer of the rental period with a $100.00 transfer charge.) CHECK-IN/ CHECK-OUT Check-in is typically at 3:00 p.m. and check-out at 11:00 a.m. The Owner will make exceptions from time to time with prior approval. FURNISHINGS PROVIDED Towels, linens, soaps and an ample supply of paper goods and trash bags will be provided. The kitchen has cookware, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc. The refrigerator may be used, just be sure to throw out your items when finished. CARE OF PROPERTY Tenant is expected to care for the property as if it was his or her own. Tenant must notify Owner on day of check-in of any damage or cleaning concerns. Any damage done by (outside of normal wear and tear), Tenant must be disclosed to Owner at check-out and payment arrangements made. When checking out please take all trash to trashcans outside and close all windows and lock all doors. IN THE EVENT In the event Owner is unable to deliver said property to Tenant under this lease agreement prior to occupancy due to fire, eminent domain, act of nature, or any other reason, Tenant hereby agrees that Owner’s sole liability as a result of these conditions is a full refund of all consideration previously tendered by Tenant. Pursuant to terms of this lease, Tenant expressly acknowledges that in no event shall Owner be held liable for any consequential or secondary damages including but not limited to any expenses incurred as a result of event. LOST, STOLEN OR ABANDONED ITEMS Owner is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or abandoned items. There will be a shipping charge for items returned by a shipping service if necessary. OCCUPANCY The following people will occupy these premises during this rental period. PERSONS INDEMNITY The Tenant agrees to release and indemnify the Owner and/or Owner’s Agent from and against all liability should anyone be injured upon the premises during the term of the lease, resulting from any cause whatsoever. The following activities are not permitted at anytime: No smoking inside the property No Candles No Grilling on Decks No open fires No pets (except with prior approval from Owner) No children swimming without adult supervision No fireworks
