KOKOMO is a privately-owned condo. It's located in the quiet, gated community of Legend Point Condominiums and Marina. It is designed after California's Marina Del Ray. You'll feel transported 'away' in the relaxing surroundings. The buildings, boats, nature and green-ways flow together. The blending of these elements makes for a peaceful escape from life's hustle and bustle! Owner’s, and guests alike, are amazed how life’s tensions and stresses ease-up and melt away every time they walk through the front door!
Enjoy lots of wide-open, outdoor spaces. It gives a resort and park-like feel to your strolls around the docks or morning coffee on the patio. Case-by-case we invite dogs, preferably <24lbs. (Sorry, NO Cats, NO claws on leather furniture.) Two dog-walk areas are available with lots of run, romp and play space! The Marina is a Birdwatcher's delight! It's a protected bird sanctuary. About Property Manager
The owner's theme song -- Jimmy Buffet's song "Migration" & it's line "Got a Caribbean soul I can barely control And some Texas hidden here in my heart....." along with a life-time love of the ocean, born on the S. Jersey Coast, undampened by a move to Texas, inspired a move to the Caribbean!! Upon returning stateside, the Caribbean-pull continued. Realtor showed this unit cause other unit- seller forgot to leave realtor his key. "SOLD!" Having lived in the USVI, this Clear Lake Shores and Kemah Condo was a "slice of island paradise" right here in Texas! The relaxed and peaceful vibe along with the wide-open, panoramic view was soothing to our Caribbean soul! KoKoMo Condo is our "Skycastle" perched and overlooking our 'gateway to the Caribbean!'

Again! Fell in love with the panoramic lake view and wonderful, open and cheerful light-filled space. Opportunity to work from home and was spoiled by the window views. Coming home at night made every day feel like a vacation. The wind symphony of sailboat rigging always touches our Caribbean soul. Nothing like dreaming of heading South while watching a spectacular sunset on the patio with wind-chimes and the splish-splash of the hot-tub. So many wonderful things making all senses fully alive. Hope you experience the same joy, peace and love for our beloved condo space!
What makes this Condo unique
Looking North, over the Lake... It feels like you've traveled to somewhere far-away (inspired by Marina Del-Rey!). Yet, everything is SO conveniently near--Both 'Big-Box' store names, side-by-side with local favorites!! Just pop down to the garage, hop into your car two spaces away and 1 turn onto the road South of the building leads you to all of life's conveniences within an easy 3 mile radius! Easy, breezy living!! We love it and believe you will, too!

Great location with everything a couple needs
We stayed in January to visit family. The condo had a great view of the marina and it was very quiet. L.A the host was very friendly and provided everything that we needed. Everything was in excellent condition. Convenient parking and a gated community!
The location is very convenient to Kemah Boardwalk, NASA , Galveston and only 45 minutes to downtown Houston. We would definitely rent again!
The location and the property itself are very nice. However the condo was very dusty, and there were dead bugs throughout the inside.
The manager of the property has a difficult time communicating. This was our 3rd time to stay there and will definitely be our last. The 1st year I did not deal with The property manager directly as my friend rented it for all of us. The 2nd year we booked after many persistent phone calls and emails she told me she did not want to rent to me due to the amount of people I had requested to stay (there was 5 of us) 2 queen beds and a single, a large couch and 2 baths. However reluctant she acted, she ended up renting to us. I have yet to understand the problem
This year she decided to take $160 of my deposit for damages that I believe were falsified as she never produced me any pictures and kept claiming there were so many things damaged. We rent all over the country and have never had a problem.
I don't think this particular condo gets rented very often...so rent at your own risk. There is a very nice Holiday Inn right down the road.
KoKoMo....Why don't we go... again & again!
I booked this condo for my husband as a surprise trip! He was so excited when I told him that the owner had made arrangements for us to bring our boat and dock it literally down in the marina just in front & off from our balcony! This condo was ideal for our family & last minute vacation. LA was exceptional to work with. It seemed every day I had another request and she was very helpful in seeing to it that all our needs were met. And did so without hesitation. The convenience of having our boat made the trip even better. We literally were out on Clear Lake and in the bay every day, & at times 2 to 3 times a day. The highlight was the two trips we took boating out to Galveston and down to West Beach. The weather and surf were perfect for each trip and watching the dolphins play all around our boat was an added bonus! Along with the nightly rides out along the Kemah Boardwalk and out to the bay to drift and see the sights and sounds from the bay! Awesome!
The condo was furnished with everything we could possibly need & then some. The secure location of the garage, parking, & gated community~ exceptional. Even the maintenance guys & condo residents were extremely helpful, repeatedly asking if we needed anything or help. The photos reflect exactly the appearance & was very well maintained. As an example of how well we were taken care of... we brought along our 5 yr old Maltese and LA (owner) made sure that Cozmo had a dog tag with her phone # just in case something happened to him while visiting Kemah. :0)
I can't think of anything negative to say about the KoKoMo! It certainly came through as exactly what we had seen on VRB0 & the experience a very pleasant one! No doubt we will return and hope to do so again very soon!
Frequent VRBO rentor
The condo is clean & beautifully decorated & we loved the balcony. We sat out every morning drinking coffee & every evening winding down. It was really great sitting there looking at the water & the boats. Beautiful view. The location was extremely convenient. Very close to Kemah & great restaurants. The underground parking spot was perfect... right by the elevator. We used the stairs too but it sure was nice to be a few steps from elevator when we had extra things to carry. We have rented many places through VRBO. This was definitely one of our very favorites. The owner was nice to work with. I highly recommend it.

Clean, open, spacious home with awesome marina views. Quiet, safe and comfortable place for our stay of 2 couples. Our vehicle was under cover and behind a secured access gate. Many activities to do in the area and L.A., the owner, was great to work with. She was quick to reply to all emails, phone calls and helped us out whenever we needed her. Thanks L.A. for all your help and we would stay here again!

"Spectacular Place To Stay"
This Condo is amazing and the owner is beyond awesome!!!! My husband and I stayed here for one week with our grandson and we were very comfortable. From the start we felt welcome and at home. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay without any concerns.
The Condo is tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated, well equipped and conveniently located to everything anyone would want to do or need to have. The view from the Condo is astonishing. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching some of the most breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.
We absolutely had a great time!!!! It is so beautiful and peaceful here none of us wanted to leave. When we visit Kemah again we will definitely consider returning here first and highly recommend this place to all our family and friends!!!!
