Why Lee chose Sausalito
I moved to Marin County from the east coast, because I wanted to be in a beautiful location that allowed you easy access to culture, sports and nature. I have found all that here!
What makes this Studio unique
This house is surrounded by eucalyptus trees, but you can still see the water. Mt Tamalpais's peak looms in view from every level. Easy access to 101, ferry and town while still feeling like you're in nature. Great walking and biking. The water front is just down the hill along with great restaurants and beautiful views. What's not to love!

Comfortable and homely
Beautiful studio in Sausalito. Perfectly equipped - Had everything we needed. Very well fitted out and comfortable. We felt right at home!
Such an adorable studio that was just perfect for me and my husband in exploring Marin County! Sausalito is a great destination for food, music and gorgeous views, and this place had a wonderful balcony and multi-level garden to put you in a meditative mood after a busy day of sightseeing. Would definitely come back to this quiet studio high in the hills, surrounded by the amazing fragrance of eucalyptus trees!
Best choice for an amazing trip to CA!
It was exactly what we thought it would be. The town of Sausilito was by far the best choice we made on our first trip to San Francisco. This place Was so comfortable and the views were awesome. I look forward to my next trip!
Cozy, Peaceful, Beautiful
A great location. Close (short drive) to downtown Sausalito with its great bars, restaurants, shops etc...you could take the long walk but it was way too much for me, especially the steep climb back up the hill.
The studio was very nice, clean and cozy with a little outside deck to sit and enjoy the nice view of the water and mountains.
The Murphy bed, when shared, made it a little tough to toss & turn but a comfy day-bed was a viable sleep/nap option for one.
Electric fireplace provided plenty of heat and nice ambiance.
Coffee pot was French Press. Small stove-top to cook or to boil water, with a mini-fridge underneath, and large microwave oven came in very handy.
Ample sized bathroom with nice functioning shower/tub.
Very comfortable linens, a TV with blu-ray player, and a collection of good movies contributed to a enjoyable stay.
The owner, Lee, is very nice and helpful, although our paths never crossed during our 3 night stay.
My wife and I thought this rental was well worth the price and would certainly consider staying here again.
Quaint, Peaceful, Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here. Just two miles from the ferry into San Francisco and only a mile walk to some fabulous restaurants on the water. The room had everything we needed nestled in the hills of Sausalito. The quiet neighborhood was a nice landing spot after a long day of sightseeing and crowds. We would definitely visit again.
Close to Muir Woods, Sausalito & Stinson Beach, Golden Gate National Recreational area, hiking trails, minutes to San Francisco over Golden Gate Bridge, Sausalito Ferry to San Francisco, 1 hour drive to Napa & Sonoma Valley's in wine country.
