About Steven Chavez

I purchased this home in 2003 and did an addition to the 2nd story. Also completely gutted the entire home and rebuilt the entire home down to the studs. Everything is new in the home as of 2005. We are both Denver natives. Just had our first son so had to move to a larger house. We loved this house because we could walk everywhere. Also across the street from a school which has a large soccer field, basketball court, playground which is great for summer time activities.

Steven Chavez purchased this house in 2003

Nice people; worn out property

  • 2 of 5

First, I must give credit to the property owner and manager for helping us get back into the property after we accidentally locked ourselves out. They were quick to come to our rescue, and nice not to make fun of us.

The property itself is quite old. The rehab that has been done is lovely, but it's taken quite a bit of abuse. There are a couple of holes in the sheetrock and many scuffs on the walls.

The lot is poorly maintained and it isn't pleasant to sit outside on old, makeshift patio furniture under a dead tree. Weeds abound.

Parking in the rear is accommodating, but the backyard is very overgbrown and unattractive.

The utensils and dishes in the kitchen are minimal, at best. Not a full set of anything, and no wine glasses.

The carpet on the stairs and in the bedrooms is worn and should be replaced.

On the flip side, the location and proximity to downtown is excellent.

I don't believe I would stay there again.

Exactly as described and pictured, clean, and very well decorated and put together!

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my group loved this property! It was the perfect fit, great location, tons of room, and all around just a great place to stay. The communication (over email/text) between the owner and the manager and myself was great and they were friendly and quick to respond.

House a bit worn but amazing location

  • 4 of 5

The management team was very responsive and informative- thank you. The location is hard to beat. So many places conveniently within walking distance. Also, there's a great front porch to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful Denver weather. Cons- the air mattress which is labeled as a bed, deflated to the extent that the person sleeping on it ended up on the floor in the middle of the night.

Overall, definitely worth the stay.

Nice Interior! Outside needed maintaining and neighborhood alittle scary

  • 3 of 5

Inside was clean. There was one washcloth for the whole house. Needed lots of light bulbs replaced. Carpet on stairs needed to be cleaned, it was slick in the middle where is was packed down and I feel and slide down the stairs. There was plenty of room for everyone. The outside needed to be cleaned and maintained. The neighborhood looked scary but had no problems.
