Clean, Wonderful Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We were visiting our daughter who was studying in Rome. This apartment was very close to her apartment and we found it to be a great location. We were arriving earlier than the check in time but since no one was staying the night before, Monica allowed us to check in early. I am always skeptical of booking when I cannot see the place beforehand but, this apartment is better than the photos. It is large apartment, clean, comfortable bed, WiFi & there were toiletries, snacks, wine & even slippers left for us. When the windows are shut you do not hear any street noise. The bedroom is in the back of the apartment & very quiet. During the day with the windows open, I enjoyed listening to the hustle & bustle of the street below. The only negative thing I can say is the stairs but, the spiral staircase adds to the charm of the building. If you can't handle walking up a lot of stairs then this is not the place for you but, if you do not mind the steps it is worth it for the apartment.

Fantastic place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

Alberto met us at the door after we finished up a drink at the little place down the street. The apartment was very clean and spacious. The location was excellent. We would leave the apartment and just start walking to explore Rome. There are lots of historical places within walking distance and the only time we needed a cab was to go to the Vatican. It was nice to go downstairs to the shop across the street and buy what we needed to make our own meals. The rooftop terrace was great in the evening to have a meal and a few drinks and watch the sun go down. I highly recommend choosing this apartment.

Comfortable, clean and very thoughtful hosts

  • 5 of 5

I had a short stay in this apartment, though now I wish that I had stayed here longer. Great fun neighborhood. 3rd floor walk up could be challenging with luggage, but they were kind enough to help. The apartment was super clean and they had clean linens and slippers left out for me. I would definitely stay there again!

A "Home Away"

These are the best 2 words to describe our vacation in Rome,

Thank you Monica for having us in your most welcoming "nest" (by all means :-).

For the apartment -

Located at the best location, from the place to have your coffee and pastry in the morning - right next door, to the best Italian food at the local restaurants just a few steps away.

We thank you for making your lovely property as delightful and comfortable as it is, - A place that makes you feel at home.

Excellent location for a Rome vacation

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this apartment for 2 weeks in March. The rental agreement was settled promptly. At Monica's suggestion arrangements were made with the property manager, Alessandro, to provide transportation to and from the airport. The photos and descriptions of the apartment were accurate. It was a clean, comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The location was ideal. Most of the major attractions were within walking distance. Those that were more distant could be easily accessed by tram or bus. Trastevere is a wonderful neighborhood. Great restaurants and cafes, good shops and an excellent market. There are also some worthwhile sites to visit. We highly recommend the apartment and Trastevere.

Home away from home in Tastevere Rome

  • 5 of 5

Just came back from a lovely trip to Italy.

This beautiful apartment (very clean and peaceful) is just what we needed after long days of walking and visiting fascinating Rome.

Even more beautiful than the pictures., with a comfy bed.

Alessandro was a perfect host and chauffeur for our drive to the airport.

One downside, the kitchen could use a few more equipments (a good knife for meal preparation, a good chopping board a nice coffee pot or at leads a bigger one)

By the way their is a very nice little grocery just downstairs, across the apartment (italian hours: closed in the afternoon though) Great cheese too!

thank you Monica for such a great stay! It made our trip so much better.
