About Steve Goris

We own the house with another family. Been coming to the lake since we were toddlers. Just love it here. We are both from the St. Charles, MO area and have lots of kids. Which makes this house perfect for our large families. Kids can swim in quiet cove right below us.

Steve Goris purchased this house in 2000

Why Steve Goris chose Osage Beach

Just an awesome area and location. Just flat out relaxing here. Can unwind and enjoy the lake.

What makes this house unique

Just being steps from the lake. Looking over the quiet cove.

Awesome Family Reunion!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this lakehouse for our second annual family reunion week with the kids and grandkids and our 6 year-old Lab/Husky mix. What a gorgeous house! Each of our three families had a floor of bedrooms and bath to ourselves, with plenty of room for suitcases, swimming noodles, and toys. The screened-in second-story porch was our favorite part of the house; we ate meals together there (all of us!) and even watched movies on the large-screen TV mounted there. Swimming from the dock was so much fun; even the dog and the baby were in the water. The cove and road were quiet. We went on several peaceful and safe walks with our 2 year-old grandson holding our hands. The kitchen was well appointed and clean as were all three of the bathroom, and the laundry room came in handy. Everything about this house is top-notch and the owner/manager was friendly and easy to work with. This may become our yearly go-to vacation rental! Great for anyone with children or pets.

Wonderful stay at the lake house with 15 extened family members

  • 4 of 5

My extended family and I stayed at the Lake House for a week, and created a lot of wonderful memories to last a lifetime. Some of the family fished with boats, and off the dock, which is out the back door. Some of the family swam and played in the water off the dock. The rest of the family shopped at the Outlet malls, and spent quality time hanging out together. The house and property was in a great location for all of these things. The house was large enough with three levels to allow all of the family to have their own space. The house had recently had new carpet and paint with some signs of the work that was done, but overall it was very clean. The kitchen was somewhat dated, but was functional for all the many meals we cooked.

Friend and Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our vacation! We gathered with two other couples and their children. We loved that the dock was only a few steps from the house. This home is in the perfect location for any shopping, dining, or activities. It is also a great location on the lake. The adults gathered on the beautiful screened in porch each morning to have our coffee while the kids were still sleeping in their perfectly nestled away bedrooms. The owner, Steve, was readily available and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. This was certainly a great value and we will return!

Family Gathering

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for an activity for an end of summer activity and liked the homes nestled in an area that was not commercialized. The property was perfect (beautiful wooded area and view) and was close to all accomodations for restaurant, golf, and boating. We had excellent access to the Lake with the dock and rented a boat for a day. The home is clean and well maintained and was excellent for our family. The owner was especially easy to work with and very accessible. I would definately rent the property again or recommend the property to someone staying in that area.
