My family and I attended our son's wedding at the resort July 31/August 1 and 2nd and I have to say the resort and the attention from the owner and staff exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful place; the views amazing, the accommodations exceptional. As an earlier review mentioned they certainly seem to have thought of everything. Highly recommend for weddings, family reunions or other group gatherings or romantic getaways.
The most amazing views, clean and very beautiful rooms. They thought of everything. Close to all the Berkshire attractions but private as well. A great place for a family reunion or group gatherings. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
At the southern of the lake there's free parking next to the free boat launching ramp and a public beach with restrooms, a lifeguard (in season), and an adjacent picnic area with shady conifers.
Pittsfield, only minutes away, is starting a Farmer's Market, which will be set up on the city owned parking lot on First Street across from the renewed Berkshire Common. In addition to the vendors, there will be a range of entertainment and activities TBA. Check the local news paper, The Berkshire Eagle (available online) for updates on this recent announcement.
