Hill Country Premier Lodging

Not quite what we expected
It was a longer, more difficult walk than expected to the river & necessary to cut through the neighboring Tipi grounds, but nobody complained. The photo of the outdoor table is right on River Road, just feet away from traffic. Lights in kitchen/living space were all out. We did enjoy the family of deer in the area.
This little house was adorable, it could use some yard work. No sheets for couch. But it was nice.
On web page doesn’t show on road. Enjoyed stay.
Run!!!! Don't do it!!!!!
Upon opening the door & the musty smell that over took us, twas the 1st sign I rented the wrong place! In 15 years of renting places to spend the weekend, this is the worst property I've ever encountered . The bed is HORRIBLE!!! The river is NOT right out the door & the directions are not current to take you to the rivers edge. If you want to watch TV during your stay, you are out of luck, no channels & No dvd player. I called the managing property managers " Hill Country Premier Lodging" upon realizing there were no wash clothes & they never responded. I should of paid attention to the other comments, if I had of I would of NEVER rented this place!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay,it was close to everywhere we wanted to go,its beautiful!
We had a great time
It was a short walk to the river but the deck area is great for spending time in the river. The bed is uncomfortable but that was the only thing that bothered us.
Small shed not on river
My husband, daughter and I wanted to get away. I should have read the previous review. It is not river front. Only river access. It was hard to find the road. We went down once and went to the rv Park were our family was. Bed is hard and not comfortable. Futon is worn out. Was not homey or welcoming. Electricity kept shorting in the bathroom. Smell of the home was older. Wood in the cement would go down when we stepped on it. Loved the Guadalupe river. Just not the casita or location.
