Highly Recommended!

We first arrived at night and although it was dark, you could already see and feel the charm of the location. The interior is incredibly homey, well-decorated and so comfortable! When we woke up in the morning... WOW! We were blown away by the scenery and sheer beauty of the place. I almost did not want to leave to go to Breckenridge! Our weekend getaway was perfect in every way and we would definitely stay here again - especially in a different, warmer, season.

Wonderful Relaxing Mountain Getaway

  • 5 of 5

If you're looking for a nice little mountain getaway, this cabin is a wonderful choice. It's quaint and has everything you need, everything is updated and the heated floors are a nice touch. It was beautiful in the winter and I bet it's even better during the summer months.

I do have a few words of advice for individuals booking this cabin. It is a mountain cabin. Like others have mentioned, if you're arriving during the winter months, you might consider having a 4W or AWD vehicle. The roads are plowed and your hosts do a great job shoveling for you but it is Colorado and you're a good 10 minutes or so drive from I70--plan accordingly.

The bedrooms aren't very private as they are quite open--glass doors, open loft, etc. If you're with loved ones it's perfect but just keep this in mind if you're going as a group but still looking for privacy.

It took us about 45 minutes to an hour to drive to both Breck and Keystone--we were driving on a holiday weekend so it may have been a bit on the busy side.

The only advice I have for the hosts: Because service is difficult to obtain so far up in the mountains, you might want to print a binder of sorts with the standard home info and check-out process--just in case! Also, Pam/cooking oil is a must lol!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Quiet and cozy getaway with amazing scenery!

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommended for a wonderful visit to Colorado. Location was central to everything! We were able to visit Breckenridge with just a short drive, ski at Loveland Pass which is just minutes away, make a 15 minute drive to the casinos at Century City and ride the Georgetown Loop railway that was just down the road. Beautiful home in a quiet setting with lots of wildlife and nature around you. The owners were quick to respond to any question we had and worked hard to make us feel welcomed. We will definitely be booking again!
