The pool is exceptional and quite a treat as very few homes in Lake Tahoe have access to one, let alone a private pool. You’ll love spending every minute in this home.

Incredible home for our family
We couldn’t have had a better place to stay for our family, the location/home/pool was excellent. There’s literally not one thing we would have changed- beds were so comfy, decor was so beautiful, loved the use of a crib and high chair. We would absolutely stay here again and we’re so sad to leave

A little disappointing
We were a little confused on arrival. There is a coded entry system and three lock boxes in and around the front door. Had to call the management company to help us get in, as the lock box we assumed was for the real estate people, because it was hanging on the dooor handle, was actually the one we needed to use. A little confusing.
The four of us spent the first 20 minutes or so cleaning the pool and the decks. The pool was cloudy and full of needles from the surrounding trees. Both the upper and lower decks had not been swept for days. Once again, covered in needles and dirt. There are only two sun beds and a picnic table on the top deck and nothing at all to sit upon on the lower deck, where the old hot tub is. We didn’t use either the hot tub or the pool after seeing the state of the pool. There was a heat lamp outside which would have been a lovely addition to outside dining had there been propane in the bottle. The electric barbecue was dirty and not powerful enough to cook our steaks efficiently. The house is very sparsely furnished which is a shame because it has a lot of potential. The one sofa and two armchairs that are in the sitting room are not inviting.
Having said all that, the inside of the house was clean, the beds were super as were the bathrooms. However, no bedside table lights in the master bedroom...
Somebody needs to get a handle on managing this house efficiently. First impressions count and to have to start cleaning as soon as you walk in is not the ideal way to start a vacation in Tahoe.

We do our best to keep the outside areas clean however during summer months it can get very windy. The outside areas are cleaned as often as the inside however we can definitely up the number of cleanings for the deck
to prevent future guests from not having a not so good experience.
For the furniture, we will definitely take this feedback into consideration and consult with the homeowner on this.
As for the lockbox, we have many service providers for the home so the lockboxes are necessary however, we can make the instructions for entry more clear to prevent any further confusion.

It was a great house. It needed a few things to make it better for renters - driveway needs to be able to be cleaned from snow and ice - we had to park on the road because of the ice on the driveway. My truck slid down the driveway and touched the garage door in the night time with no damage to either. The stairs going down to the front door were also iced and we fell on them 4 or 5 times. Other than that we had a great time

Great property location wise and interiors. Loved flat screens and lovely master bathroom. Great dining area and lounge for families. Bedrooms all good size too, definitely would come back
