This is the perfect place to base your Rocky Mountain visit or to just enjoy the view and the serene rural character of Teton Valley, Idaho. The setting of our home feels removed yet it is close to so much.
Sitting on 20 acres 200’ off the Valley floor the views from the house are mesmerizing . The wood features - timber frame, reclaimed wood, large trees and beam package make this a very unique structure.
You will have all the comforts of home in this magnificent setting. There is a large east facing deck where you can greet the morning sun and the Tetons with a cup of coffee, and grill your evening meal watching the alpine glow.
Both our master bedroom and our guest room have comfortable queen beds and their own tiled bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped and great for cooking and conversation. Our great room has 18‘ ceilings, a large reclaimed log dining room table, an area to read, relax, listen to music and enjoy the views.
There are two office work spaces. We have WiFi though out the house, a T.V. (for movies), DVD player, iPod docking station and excellent sound system. There is a stone deck off the master bedroom with views of the Tetons and a stone patio on the westside of the house. Many places to enjoy the surrounding hillsides -The Big Holes.
Below the house is a small organic dairy farm . We make yogurt with their milk and love their cheeses. They sell their milk at Barrels and Bins in Driggs and their cheese at the Victor Valley Market in Victor.
460 Bread baked in the Valley rivals any we have found in Portland.
Our house is located a short distance from Victor which has many restaurants (Our favorites are: The Knotty Pine, Scratch, Spoon, The Emporium - Famous Huckleberry Shakes, Big Hole BBQ, plus pizza, beers and if you want to cook at home the Victor Valley Market).
Driggs is 8 miles in the other direction with unique shops (Guchiebirds, Yostmark, Peaked Sports, Habitat, The Corner Drug), Barrels and Bins an organic food store and Broulims an excellent grocery store in this rural world. Driggs also has many of our favorite restaurants (Forage, Teton Thai, Warbirds, The Royal Wolff, Tony’s Pizza, Pendls, Cicero's, and the Tatanka Tavern). The list goes on and on. It is truly remarkable that such a small Valley has so many wonderful amenities.
Grand Targhee Resort 12 miles outside of Driggs is a destination in itself (restaurants, hiking, horseback riding, music festivals, mountain biking)
There are many yoga and body work businesses in the area.

This area is truly remarkable in its beauty, access to the magnificent Rocky Mountain west and all it has to offer.
