About Susan Hopp
Our camp was discovered by my grandparents in 1951 and handed down from generation to generation.
Susan Hopp purchased this House in 1951
Why Susan Hopp chose Moultonborough
Across from and next next to conservation land. Private road. The property is 5.5 acres lakefront. The sandy beach is perfect for small children and provides easy access to the water. A perfect place to launch kayaks and canoes. This unique point of land is pristine and serene. Hear and watch the loons and fish jumping as the hummingbirds fly around. This is mother nature at her finest.
What makes this House unique
This large secluded area has very little boat traffic and very private.

Incredible "Golden Pond" Retreat
For our third trip to Squam Lake, the women in our family decided to upgrade to this Harvard Point rental, and we unanimously decided we had made a wise choice. The layout of the home was conducive to the many whims and desires of our group, whose ages ranged from 15 to 52. While some played games at the large accommodating table in the dining area, others were able to watch a movie, all while not disturbing a few who wanted some quiet reflection time with a view of the lake and a book. The thoroughly updated kitchen allowed the cooks among us to work on meals without being in each other's way, and the many windows enabled us to take in the gorgeous scenery while doing so. Two of the bedrooms were nicely tucked away at one end of the home which made it nice for those who wanted to retire early and not be disturbed by the laughter of the "night owls" who chose to enjoy the beautiful fire in the fireplace well into the night. We spent our days kayaking around the islands in the vicinity, hiking the well marked trails that started just a short walk down the road, and enjoying time on the nice deck and dock. Even if we were going out to shop in the afternoons, we always tried to be home in time for the incredible sunsets. Several of the photos we captured of this spectacular sight, have now been blown up and hang on our walls. The star gazing was delightful as well. A lakefront home with the space and amenities this one has, isn't easy to find. We truly think we've found our star of Squam Lake and look forward to returning many more times!
We had a nice relaxing vacation. If you like a quiet cove, this is the place to be. The water is wonderful with a nice small sandy beach. We kayak and paddle board every day. The cottage was very nice with updated kitchen, large deck and wonderful views. The sunsets were spectacular. Great hiking nearby and close to town for shopping and dining. The owner was a pleasure to talk to and help with any questions.
