Why Melissa Garvey chose Jamestown

I stayed as a guest at this cabin 10 years before I would eventually own it. I loved it from day one, and still find it to be the most zen-like place I have ever stayed. The quiet setting instills a feeling of peace and appreciation for the great beauty of the Colorado mountains.

This is my only rental property, and my second home. I take great pride in the comfort and satisfaction of my guests and hope you will love this place as much as I do.

Perfection!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect place to stay during our week in Colorado. This peaceful hideaway is close to everything. The pictures do not do this place justice. Amazing views from the back porch and modern interiors made this cabin feel like home. It was only an hour drive to Boulder with splendid views along the mountain road. We can not wait to come back to Colorado and to our home away from home. Thank you for making our stay amazing!

Another great week at the cabin!

All was its usual wonderful. We had a lovely couple of days of snow, but the rest was sunshine to enjoy the Fall leaves. The cabin was comfortable, attractive, accommodating, and cozy. Thanks!

Totally as described, we love this place and would return in an instant. Thanks for sharing your sanctuary with others. The fact that it's so close to great hiking was a huge plus for us!!

the property is stunning; the view is stunning. VERY quiet; perfect antidote to stress!

  • 5 of 5

The house is set up nicely. Everything you might have forgotten or didn't think you needed is available. It's very clean and easy to keep clean. The owner is quite gracious. I lost the key the moment I opened the door on the first day.................. she was very helpful in dealing with that mishap. I later found the key, thank goodness. The best way to describe the stay is relaxing and easy. The view furthers eliminates any tendencies toward stress or anxiety - expansive, gorgeous and dead quiet - except for the hummingbirds. I would stay here again and again.
