When crossing the bridge from Punta Gorda via the Tamiami Trail, you can see your future vacation home on the water. With easy access to the main roads, yet set on a lightly traveled road, this is the ideal home away from home!

The full kitchen, dining area, living room & lanai balcony look out over the water of Charlotte Harbor and the Peace River. The Master bedroom has a king-sized bed, views of the water and its own private lanai balcony. The large master bath has dual sinks, seperate shower & large tub.

The middle bedroom has a king-sized bed and shares a jack-and-jill bathroom with the front bedroom which has 2 twin beds.

There is an additional 1/2 bath off the entry hall.

When the wind is right, the sound of the waves crashing up on shore is all you need to know that you chose just the right place for your getaway!

About Christine Salmon

Hello there! We are Phil, Christine & Hadley and we purchased this condo with Christine's parents, Gary & Charmaine. While Gary & Charmaine have already been loving life in Punta Gorda, Phil, Christine & Hadley are still 'back home' in Door County, Wisconsin.

Phil has been a Realtor for many years, and Christine works for their local Visitor Bureau. With their knowledge of real estate and tourist destinations, they knew that this condo at Peace River Preserve was a winner! Hadley will be working her first job this summer in Door County before she starts high school in the Fall.

Gary & Charmaine are retired bankers, who have taught their kids to work hard and play hard, to always make time for family and to never pass up the chance to tell the people in your life that you love them.

We would love to share our tropical dream home with you while you enjoy the beauty, the nature, the history and the many nearby attractions in Charlotte County.

Why Christine Salmon chose Port Charlotte

Honestly, there are thousands of gorgeous condos in this area - I think that we had our Realtor show us most of them!!! The vast majority of them are on navigable canals so that the water is always nearby.

But, this particular condo has that 'big water' view. It's not directly on the Gulf, so it's less susceptible to the brutal weather that can roll in, but there is a full mile of water between the shore at the Peace River Preserve and the shore of Punta Gorda.

And, the fishing pier is amazing! It's completely private, with a coded lock so that only boat slip owners have access. We've been told that Snook can be caught right under the pier! This is one of the best places to watch the 4th of July fireworks, too.

The building (and the neighboring building) are protected by a gated entrance, which provides just that little bit of extra privacy during your stay. And, the fact that the condo itself is a corner unit gives you even more privacy.

The view from the pool deck over Charlotte Harbor is another big reason to love this property.

This is NOT a transient development. The majority of owners use their units themselves and do not rent. The minimum required stay of 30 days ensures that the ambience is more of a residential community - not a hotel !

What makes this condo unique

There are so many things about this place that made it stand out above all the others to us: the fishing pier, boat slip, corner unit, the private balcony off the master suite.

Really, one of the biggest reasons why we fell in love with Peace River Preserve is that we could see ourselves living here someday.

This place is perfect-the view is incredible, it is quiet and the neighbors are great. We have stayed in several condos in the area but this is by FAR my favorite. You cannot have a bad day with this view..... Everything you need is here, and the breeze from the lanai is fantastic. You can be in downtown Punta Gorda in about two minutes, the location is ideal.

Great rental!

The condo was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Everything in the condo was exactly as it was shown on the website. It was furnished nicely and had all the needed linens and household items. The view from the lanai was great. The pool was a relaxing place to cool off. The location made this condo have easy access to Punta Gorda as well as Englewood beaches, Venice beaches and Siesta Key.
