We bought this home and took years to restore and update this home leaving the charm of an era gone by, intact. Nestled in an established charming neighborhood, this home has the amenities of a modern home but the charm, uniqueness, comfort and style still remain.
This property is uniquely situated close to all the attractions found in the Fort Worth area, including Downtown, the Uptown District, the Museum and Cultural Center and just minutes from TCU, Location doesn't get any better. Easy access to all major thoroughfares and walking distance to most major attractions.
The easy access of this home with a coach drive large enough for truck and trailer plus a property with almost a third of an acre in the city, gives you the comfort of home, Huge lush yard allows for family and friends to gather and spend time not in a noisy restaurant but in the tranquil setting of a home. Two large spacious living areas plus 3 bedrooms and 3 baths makes this home family friendly and yet private.
Property was fantastic. Perfect for what we needed. Only issue was that the master bedroom shower did not work very well, and had some hair in the drain, but plenty of other bathrooms. Has lots of outdoor seating and a great living room.
My daughter got married at a nearby ranch and we wanted a place where we could relax with relatives coming in from all over the country. The house was perfect! Beautifully furnished, comfortable beds, big backyard. Highly recommend!!
Very comfortable home at which our family gathered for TCU graduation. Easy access to downtown and campus. Kitchen was well equipped and able to grill out, as well. As is common with houses of this vintage, those working in the kitchen were isolated from others during meal prep and clean up, but two well sized (and appointed) living areas and a large covered porch for gathering outside. Pay attention as you drive up the first time - located on a soft corner and easy to miss.
This property is simply splendid. Beautifully decorated, immaculate grounds and perfect location for all Fort Worth has to offer. Easy access to West 7th, the museum district, Will Rogers complex and Sundance Square. Janet is friendly, helpful and responsive to any needs. We will certainly be back again to enjoy this relaxing sanctuary.
We found this property to be everything it is describes as and more! The bedding and towels were of very fine quality. It was clean and decorated as if in a lovely resort hotel. The back yard was perfect for all sorts of activities, cooking out or simply reading a good book. We felt as if we were at home. The TV had many channels to select from. There was even a library of books to choose from. You can walk to some of the tourist spots and eateries. The property manager is available by email and will respond instantly! This is a lovely home away from home, 5-Star or better! We will definitely stay there again. Angela
We were looking for a house that had 2 master suites and dinning seating for 8. My daughter and family came from out of state to celebrate my grandson's first birthday. We spent a lot of time at the house because of the need for kids napping. It was close enough to get out to see and do the things we wanted to do in short outings. We had friends who came by for a visit and there was plenty of seating to accommodate our visitors. It was a warm weekend and we enjoyed some time outside on the porch and patio which had a lot of seating. The house had some amazing furniture, was very well stocked and very comfortable sleeping. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Nearby attraction include Downtown Fort Worth featuring Bass Hall, Will Rogers Coliseum, Museum District, Botanical Gardens, TCU, Colonial Country Club and Golf Course, Rock Creek public course, Botanical Gardens and the fabulous restaurants and night life on 7th Street. Walking distance to UT of North Texas Health and Science Center. This lovely, family friendly home is in lovely old established neighborhood for your convenience and privacy.
