Arthouse 3rd floor is the unit we were assigned but that was not what we thought we were renting. I had even messaged the manager before I rented to ask which unit had the nice views and we were told “this one”. Instead we arrived to find that we were in a tiny 2 bed/1 bath ground view. We literally were looking out at a garbage dumpster. We quickly realized we had been scammed. I texted the property manager and they moved us to a different place, about 4 blocks from where we were. It was all so frustrating and we ended up in a nice place just a block from the market but no water view. Having to load up our car and find parking again at 10PM was just a huge hassle. I feel that they should list each unit in Arthouse separately and show the view, etc. since we were paying premium rates so our expectation was that we were going to be staying in a really nice place with a view. I’m glad I complained and they were very responsive but why should I have to complain? Perhaps they were hoping to do a “bait and switch” and that we would just accept the unit they gave us.
This unit is dark, very few lamps and many had bulbs burned out. There was a small patio with 2 plastic chairs that looked directly at a parking lot and dumpster. The only TV in the place could not connect to the WiFi to access Apple TV so we couldn’t even use the TV.
Very nice central location
It was an nice experience but not five stars. To get five stars I would need the following: the view presented to us on website isn't what we got. It's better to prepare guests that they may not get the view pictures. The couch and chairs weren't comfortable especially for 4 adults to watch tv. A sectional might work better. It didn't allow u to lay on couch and relax in front of tv after long day. Or add tv's in bedrooms. Extra keys for 2 or more guests would be helpful. Make guests aware that they can order uber eats if it's late and don't wanna leave. The communication was excellent and responses were relatively quick. The kitchen, bathroom, etc...were nice and comfortable. The appliances were very nice but there desperately needs to be a microwave.
