Just right! Location size and price but mostly the beds. They were just right!
We enjoyed our mother daughter stay. The unit is just as pictured and everything was super easy. We will book here again.
Nice location, good vacations.
Well maintained. Exactly as described and pictured.
Everything was exactly as it was described and pictured online. Hostess was very friendly and accomdating. Facilities were clean. And location was superb!
The property is great, just like the pictures. We loved that we could just walk right to the beach from the pool. It was a great stay, the only thing we wanted to recommend was to add more mirrors! Because there is only one bathroom that's the only mirror which made it a little difficult to get ready with 5 people.
Descent Place, Mismanaged
The place is descent. The finishes are basic but it's clean and functional. The unit is on the 2nd floor. The rear balcony is just above the entrance to the building and faces Ocean Drive which is a fairly busy street. The pool area is nice and the pool is heated. The cafe is convenient for buying groceries or having a fast meal. They'll deliver to the pool or room which is convenient. The cafe staff is friendly and efficient. So the place has potential.
But the experience is ruined with burdensome rules. You have to wear a wristband that's not removable to use the pool area during the entire stay. What is this kindergarten? I'm supposed to go to a formal event wearing a wristband? Crazy. And the gate to enter/exit the pool has to be unlocked using a magnetic strip that you wear around your neck. And you only get 1 per unit. You can pay $20 for a second. So now you have to wear the band and carry this thing around your neck. You end up with people standing on both sides of the gate waiting to get in or out. Eventually that happens. I can't see how this helps secure anything. I don't have to be a genius to figure out this system doesn't work. A young girl standing next to me asked - if I have to wear a band anyway - why do I also have to carry a key? Ah - good question!
On top of this, no one mentioned this to me. Angelica seems like a descent person but she didn't communicate anything to me during the countless exchanges we had. She was supposed to meet us at check-in - which she never did - but I still don't know why.
I also had the unfortunate experience of being approached by security about this at the pool. Even when I gave him my name and he verified I was a hotel guest he insisted I get up immediately and go to the office with him. I've got kids with me. Then I had the unfortunate experience of meeting the property Manager who seems oblivious that no-one likes this system and asked me to suggest an alternative. Here's a suggestion - walk 2 doors down to the diplomat and see what they do! No gates, no wristbands - and it works. I stayed at dreams in Mexico - an inclusive - and guess what - no wristband!
I don't know where this property manager got her hospitality training - but she should get her money back.
So if you're willing to put up with this - you could enjoy your stay. But I'm not coming back.
what a great vacation!
The condo was EXACTLY what we were looking for for indian rocks beach. Plenty of everything for cooking, ironing board and iron, beach toys, and towels for daily beach time! The SW motif was also pretty awesome since we are from Arizona. We will def. be looking at the Happy Fiddler again for march when we are back down.
