The Cabin at Creek Bend Farm is a secluded 1-bedroom, 1-bath, fully furnished 525 sq ft house, and is situated in the middle of 50 wooded acres. The cabin overlooks a fishing pond and there are many walking/biking trails surrounding the cabin. Access to the cabin, and the owner's house, is secured with a privacy gate. Guests drive past the owner's house, on their way to the cabin, but the two are separated by woods keeping the cabin private. Boat parking can be accommodated at the cabin location, to keep them safe, and the 50 wooded acres are reserved for guest use. The cabin was built in 2013 and is located 5 miles outside historic Mineola and is perfect for a week, a couple of nights, or a weekend getaway. The cabin is the only dwelling on the 50 acres. It is less than an hour from Canton First Monday Trade Days (33 mi), Lindale Cannery Entertainment Complex (17 mi), Mineola Antique Shopping (7 mi), Mineola Nature Preserve (7 mi), Lake Fork Marina (23 mi), Tiger Creek Big Cat Refuge (21 mi), Tyler State Park (24 mi), Tyler Caldwell Zoo (29 mi), Tyler Rose Gardens (31 mi), Tyler Azalea Trails (36 mi), and East Texas Gator Park (22 mi).
The cabin has a private bedroom, living room, dinette table, private bathroom with shower, kitchen with all appliances except a dishwasher, Keurig coffee-maker, pots and pans, necessary dishes and utensils, iron with ironing board, hair dryer, and combination washer/dryer. Charcoal, lighter, matches, BBQ utensils, and firewood are provided. The cabin can sleep 5. It has a queen bed, queen sleeper-sofa, and a single-person cot. The cabin has satellite TV (in the living room) and Internet WiFi. There are porches along the length of the front and back of the cabin with a swing overlooking the pond and a glider looking towards woodlands. No smoking allowed in the cabin and no pets or ATVs on the property. Fishing is allowed (bring your own gear), Kayaks work well on the pond, but hunting is not allowed.
