About Kate Cohen
I grew up in Camden, just a few miles down the road from here and was lucky enough to return with my husband to raise our four children in Maine. My husband is a Real Estate Broker here in town and we are both very active in our community. This area is a truly special spot and we believe whether this is your first visit or your 100th, it won't be your last! We work very hard to make your stay enjoyable, we are accessible…you may run into us in town at Boyton Mckay or having a snack on the deck of the Waterfront. We hope to see you soon!

Beautiful home, beautiful coastline!
Five lifetime friends recently stayed at Kate's home to celebrate our 60th birthdays. The house is huge! Each of us had a lovely room, two of the rooms are like separate apartments! The ocean view is everywhere. The weather was not good during our stay but we enjoyed the hot tub, had happy hour in the adorable bungalow right at the ocean's edge, visited a nearby winery, strolled in Camden, read our books and relaxed! Can't even imagine how wonderful it would be in summer. The house is clean and welcoming! Highly recommend.
I wish the weather had cooperated! We are so pleased you enjoyed the house, the beach bungalow and hot tub regardless! We would love to have you all back in the sunshine.
An excellent property for extended family with young children or grandchildren
Two week rental in August 2017. This is a very nice property with plenty of room and great views of the bay. The kitchen, living and dining areas are spacious and well laid out. The property has a completely renovated sea shack/cabin on the water that can serve as a bedroom (my son and daughter-in-law slept in it for a week). There is an apartment over the garage with access to the house that was perfect for my wife and I (the grandparents). It has a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area and its own deck. The property has great access to the beach, including a sand beach that is close by. The yard is large and provides a good place for children to play. The location is great for us providing easy access to Camden, Rockland, Rockport, and Belfast. Bar Harbor and Acadia are also not that far. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and silverware. We liked the property so much that we have rented it for two weeks next year.
We can't wait to see you all again!
Perfect Ocean Front Family Vacation Home
We just finished our week at this great home. We had a large extended family that required at least 5 to 6 separate sleeping areas and this home met the need plus more. It ha an absolutely huge and great grass yard leading down to the water. At the water front is a beautiful traditional Maine rock ocean front as well as the converted shack that we renamed "The Bungalow" during our stay. Someone slept in it every night of our stay and we often hung there or had naps in it.
The house is large, clean, and very open between the kitchen, eating area, and family room. We had 3 young children in our group and they spent almost all their time in the backyard that had a swing set, tire swing, lots of toys, and plenty of space to run around.
We have been renting homes on Maine and Cape Cod for years and this is one of the best.
A Magical Maine House on the Coast
Grandparents, parents, and kids had a magical stay in Lincolnville ME thanks to this perfect beach house. We enjoyed our comfortable, make-yourself-at-home house and the wonderful Camden-Lincolnville Beach area. From the Tonka trucks and swing set for 2-year-old Abraham to examining mussels and snails and collecting treasures on the beach for Abe and 4-year-old Emaline to playing volleyball at the park next door, to our lobster feast, to hiking up mountains, kayaking, swimming in the ocean or at Megunticook Lake, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We also took excursions into Camden for ice cream and gifts, into Rockport for the Wyeth Museum, and to Appleton Creamery for goat cheese. Bumping everything up a notch was soaking in the hot tub, taking turns sleeping in the boat house, and the amazing view--not to mention Tony Award-worthy talent shows by our teenaged girls. Happy memories were made in this wonderful house on the Maine Coast!!
Thank you for your review! Its so exciting to hear from guests and how they spent their time in Maine. We are really pleased the house was such a good home base for you and your family and we look forward to seeing you again next summer!
I was laid up with a deep cold and did not stay with the family at the cottage.
They all seemed to have a great time.
Too bad that you were sick! We worked extra hard to get the sea cottage ready and also to allow your large family gathering. It's a shame you were unable to enjoy that.
Magical stay at a lovely home
We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our large, multi-generational family for a reunion trip over the 4th of July week. Kate was so responsive and easy to communicate with before and throughout our stay, quick to answer any little question we had or even for advice on where to order a cake for a special event we were hosting. The house was even larger and nicer than we had pictured. The yard is a kids' wonderland, and the rocky beach was fun for the little ones as well. Would definitely recommend -- in fact, would love to go back and stay myself, if I ever find myself in these parts again! Lincolnville was the perfect landing spot for a summer getaway.
Home is located in the heart of Penobscot Bay--one of the most coveted sailing areas in the world. Gaze all days at lobster boats, schooners, the Islesboro ferry, and all the nearby islands . Property offers a great home base from which to explore the Maine coast. Camden is about 7 miles away and Belfast is about 9 miles.
