About Kate Cohen

I grew up in Camden, just a few miles down the road from here and was lucky enough to return with my husband to raise our four children in Maine. My husband is a Real Estate Broker here in town and we are both very active in our community. This area is a truly special spot and we believe whether this is your first visit or your 100th, it won't be your last! We work very hard to make your stay enjoyable, we are accessible…you may run into us in town at Boyton Mckay or having a snack on the deck of the Waterfront. We hope to see you soon!

Perfect for our family...We're still talking about it!

  • 5 of 5

Our family's stay at Ocean Cottage, just a couple weeks ago, proved to be everything we had hoped for! " A picture is worth 1000 words," and if there was a way for me to post photos, I wouldn't have to say anything! Our family of 8, including all 3 generations, thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities! The views were always amazing, especially at sunrise, and the spaciousness of the house enabled private space if or when needed. It was definitely a family friendly home. My 3 year old granddaughter loved her bedroom, complete with a mural and stuffed animals to greet her!

The proximity to Mount Battie, Camden, Belfast, Rockland, Bar Harbor and Acadia (just to name a few) made exploring so much more enjoyable!

Our short stay provided us with memories to last a lifetime...It truly was a vacation we will all remember fondly! To return someday, would be something we would all welcome and certainly look forward to!😊 Thanks Cohen family for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Owner's Response: Manley, Too bad that you were sick! We worked extra hard to get the sea cottage ready and also to allow your large family gathering. It's a shame you were unable to enjoy that.

This is third year we have stayed here and we want to come again. Great facilities for large family experience. Five available bedrooms plus great separate apartment over garage. Large deck with hot tub overlooking large grass lawn and Penobscott Bay with Islesboro across the way'

Wonderful kitchen well equipped with great appliances. Located on Americas Highway #1 a mile from a great Lobster Pound and the Islesboro Ferry and only about 8 minutes from the historic and enchanting port of CAMDEN, MAINE!

Magical stay at a lovely home

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our large, multi-generational family for a reunion trip over the 4th of July week. Kate was so responsive and easy to communicate with before and throughout our stay, quick to answer any little question we had or even for advice on where to order a cake for a special event we were hosting. The house was even larger and nicer than we had pictured. The yard is a kids' wonderland, and the rocky beach was fun for the little ones as well. Would definitely recommend -- in fact, would love to go back and stay myself, if I ever find myself in these parts again! Lincolnville was the perfect landing spot for a summer getaway.

Awesome family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about our stay at Ocean Cottage in Lincolnville. This property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The ocean views are amazing. This house is beautiful, well cared for, and clean, and the amenities far exceeded our expectations. There were 7 of us ages ranging from 18 to 83 and it never felt crowded due to the spaciousness of the house. The open Kitchen and living areas were wonderful, you could cook meals, and still be a part of conversations in the living area. If the weather would have cooperated a little more I am sure we would have enjoyed making use of the outside amenities like the hot tub, deck and fire pit. Kate was wonderful, always answered any questions we had when we contacted her. The close proximity to areas such as Camden, Belfast, Bar Harbor, Acadia and Rockland, made it possible to see other areas of Maine and what they had to offer which was an added bonus. I would highly recommend staying at this property and hope we will have the opportunity to stay at Kate's place in the future.
