Welcome to our home in the private, tranquil Key West Golf Club, a gated community with very little noise or traffic. If you’re looking for a place that offers the comfort and grace of a family home, as opposed to just another vacation rental, this is for you. It has all the little details that make a location special.
Downstairs features a sophisticated, elegant living area. My wife is a local artist, a member of the Studios of Key West, and the art and furnishings clearly reflect her background. Adjacent to the living room is a cozy study with 48” plasma TV. The dining area is congenial and inviting, right off of a well-equipped kitchen.
Upstairs you’ll find 3 bedrooms, all carefully decorated, each with a veranda. The master bedroom, with its four-poster queen bed and billowy curtains, suggests Key West’s romantic past. There is a master bath and a second full upstairs bath.
The bricked patio garden at the rear of the home is lush, tropical and private, with a wide deck that is a delight for morning coffee and evening wine. The view is across the 17th fairway of the Rees Jones Golf Course to a small pond. Enjoy your own dipping pool or walk to the spectacular community pool just down the quiet road.
Our home includes washer/dryer, central A/C and overhead fans throughout, high-speed internet, cable TV and DVD. And we’ll be happy to accommodate any other requests you might have.

My Family of 5 just stayed here for 4wks and it was Amazing!.
It worked perfect for us and our 3 young daughters11,4 &2.
I must say to the time my Husband emailed Tom and Linda I felt well taken care of.
Tom was thorough, friendly ,humorous and a all around easy going guy .He genuinely cared for our family and wanted to fulfill any of our needs we may have. It was as though we were good friends staying at there home.
Leading up to our stay in Key west with we received a few thoughtful emails regarding great places to stop and check out on our road trip from Fort Lauderdale to Key west.
Places/restaurants they had loved as well as places our kids would enjoy. He made sure we had everything we needed before we got there .
Let me say the pictures on the website do not truly capture how beautiful this home really is.
The amount of detail to the decor of this home is breathtaking. To the door knocker when you enter the home to the eclectic artwork on the walls to the trinkets throughout the home to the smallest of details .
There was also a white binder that had every favorite restaurants throughout the island in category's of meals throughout the day. The best place to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner also favorite bars to hit up a channel guide and also the directions for the home as well as contact numbers you may need throughout your stay. I loved the folder especially being newbies to The Island.
The caretaker Jerri also helped us find a babysitter for our children so we can go out a few nights to see Key west nightlife.
The home was also equipped with anything and everything you would ever need.
I highly recommend staying here if your in Key West!!!
I feel so lucky to have had such a great experience.
It was our first time using VRBO and renting a vacation home and it was awesome all the way around.
I will now be referring all friends and family to Tom and Linda if there in the Keys.
" A Home Away From Home..."
Tom and Linda (homeowners) genuinely provide renters with a “home away from home.” Everything you need and are accustomed to, on a day-to-day basis, is available to you upon your arrival. What's more, this property is extremely clean and safe!
Our month in Key West was nothing short of paradise! We have visited Key West on four separate occasions, renting properties in the Sanctuary (Golf Club) and in the Truman Annex. This was, by far, our most enjoyable experience in Key West! Tom and Linda’s Sanctuary home was the difference. It provided refuge after a long day shopping and dining downtown, snorkeling on the West side of Fort Zachary, boating adventures, and evenings in Mallory Square. The home was spacious and enabled our family to relax in comfort. The porches (three in total) and the spa-like backyard area was divine. It provided an element of tranquility; we spent every morning sitting on the porch or patio, shaded by impeccably groomed, yet lush tropical landscaping. We often sat there soaking up the energy from the rising sun and gentle breezes that swept across the 16th fairway as we sipped our cappuccinos (we brought our Starbucks’ Barista along!) and planned our day. The private pool was a welcome addition to those of us who prefer a more intimate setting.
On a separate note, you should know, that everyone who works to maintain the home was highly courteous, very discreet, and efficient. The pool guy, Ray, was a respectful and professional young man who quickly befriended our family. The yard maintenance crew was always respectful and concerned for our needs, especially if they saw us enjoying the outdoor space. Finally, Jeri and James (managers of the home) were simply phenomenal! They take their roles seriously and will meet your every need. We even went out with Captain James (and Jeri) on their boat for a day trip to Snipe Point, and now refer to them as our friends in the Keys. They are both wonderful people.
Prior to arriving, Tom and Linda wanted to know what we needed at the house, and after departing, how our stay was, and what could be done to improve future visits. This honest request for feedback is not only an effective tool for improvement, but a genuine sign that the owners care about you.
We loved every moment of our vacation. Again, this home made it possible. It's so important to find a “perfect-fit” home when going on vacation, especially when staying for a full month. We strongly recommend this property.
