We invite you to get away from it all at Rambo Farm in Goshen, Virginia! Our circa 1840 farmhouse was remodeled in 1910 and features various updates since. The house is located on a 100 acre working farm with long river frontage. Bring your friends and enjoy 4 bedrooms (all with double beds), a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor, and one bath. This is the perfect location to enjoy relaxing, hiking, fishing, and kayaking. Because of our location in a remote river valley, there is no cell phone reception.

Our family enjoyed reconnecting with each other while disconnecting from electronics. We spent our days exploring the surrounding area (Lake Moomaw, Hot Springs, Goshen Pass) and our evenings relaxing on the property. We all enjoyed playing games in evenings or talking around the firepit. And the fishing and kayaks were an extra bonus. John and Sandy are two of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Welcoming hosts and enjoyable experience
We enjoyed our stay and my kid had a great time at the farm! Warm welcoming hosts and a very clean house. Will visit again.
Thank you so much for your great review. We enjoyed having you as guests at the farmhouse and look forward to your return.
Just the best vacation spot on the East Coast
ABSOLUTELY LOVE JOHN AND SANDY!!!
We loved our stay, we do this getaway year after year and Rambo farm has become our absolute favorite place to get away and let your soul heal. JUST BEAUTUFUL.
These guests have stayed at our farmhouse at least four times and have had great times. Lots of friendships formed over time. We love repeat guests that form a relationship with us and become a part of our family. Many of our guests have stayed numerous times and we invite others to come and get acquainted with us. We look forward to all our future guests.
Peaceful location and beauty of an historic home
A wonderful time was had by our whole family as we enjoyed the country setting, the river - including kayaking, swimming, and fishing; watching the local farmers gather hay, and just enjoying the mountains views. The home is special as it has the historic charm, 4 lovely bedrooms, 2 staircases, a well stocked kitchen, and a large dining table. The best time was sitting on the front porch watching the chickens, horses, and cows and again the fantastic views. Sandy and John are wonderful hosts.
Had a great stay! The place was very clean and loved all the activities there were to do on the farm.
Memories that will last a lifetime!
I can not express my gratitude enough for getting the chance to stay at this amazing and historic home for the weekend. The owners were helpful, thoughtful, and overall wonderful people! The area is scenic and is stowed away making it the most amazing place for a getaway. If anyone is looking for some peace and quite or simply a place to enjoy company than this is the place for you!
