This ocean view townhome sits in a prime lot to enjoy all the best SeaBluffe has to offer. Our deck offers a nice view out over the bluff to the Pacific, and all the ocean wildlife that might happen to swim by. The south pool--the one with the jacuzzi--is just 20 yards from the front door. The steps down to the secluded beach are a block from the house, making it convenient to make trips back and forth for refreshments, and get your workout in (* it is over 80 steps down to the beach *).

A three minute walk away from the beach will find you in the tennis court area which offers five courts, a basketball hoop, and a small tot lot for the little ones.

The townhome is recently remodeled, complete with a gourmet kitchen, two new bathrooms, new flooring, paint, etc. The furniture is also new, waiting for you to feel at home and enjoy!

We have done our best to anticipate all your needs, including linens and beach towels, kitchen accessories, cable TV, wi-fi, and phone with unlimited free calls to U.S. numbers. There is a patio set on the deck for sunset meals, and a barbeque on the front patio for your grilling pleasure. The detached two-car garage is also at your disposal, including all the beach chairs, toys, boogie boards and tennis equipment you'll find inside.

This is our second opportunity to enjoy at this property located in the gated ocean-front Seabluffe community of Leucadia, California. The unit itself is beautifully appointed and we appreciated the fine wood, leather and upholstered furnishings, fully stocked modern kitchen and appliances, patio and deck, BBQ grill and 3 bedrooms with excellent beds. Just a short walk takes you to the ocean beach, two pools with hot tubs, tennis courts or the shops of downtown Leucadia. Laundry facilities include cupboards fully stocked with beach towels and the 2-car garage garage holds an array of beach chairs & toys, tennis and biking equipment. We had a wonderful experiences and have commenced planning for our return. The owner is a joy to plan and work with.

Wonderful two weeks

This condo provided an excellent location for a Southern California/ North San Diego vacation. There is easy access to the beach, tennis, and pools on the property. The condo itself is made ready to move in and start enjoying the vacation. There is a full kitchen, all the beach "stuff" for use, a nice BBQ, plenty of linens and washer/ dryer in the unit. We cooked in most nights and loved our meals out on the deck watching the sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Encinitas.

Excellent location, great place

We stayed at this condo for a week and we really enjoyed it. The location is perfect and the condo has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there was even a bike for my seven year old to ride. Peter was great to work with. This was an awesome condo and we hope to return!

Great location in a quiet condo community

This property is in a great location between San Diego and LA. We did day trips into both cities to watch Angels, Dodgers and Padres games and found the drive pretty easy. The condo community itself is very quiet, and the proximity to the ocean can't be beat. There are lots of restaurants and shopping areas close by. Pete, the owner, was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had before and during our stay. I am very fussy about cleanliness, and my only complaint about the property is that it wasn't as clean as I would have liked. The cleaning crew had been in right before our arrival, and it felt like they had rushed through without cleaning the floors or the kitchen counters very well. That being said, we would recommend this property as we liked the location and the owner provided very good customer service.

We stayed in this rental for a week and absolutely loved it. It was very close to Legoland and we went into San Diego a few times as well.

The layout was perfect for us, my husband an I stayed in the master bedroom which opens onto the deck that you can access from the living room. The middle room was up a half flight of stairs and contained twin beds which was perfect for our 6-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son. Grandparents stayed in the front bedroom. This unit is super close to the pool and about a block and a half from the beach access. Stairs down to the beach are a bit steep but even the 2-year-old was able to climb up and down them.

The owner was easily available and we found everything we needed, even extra bags and Tupperware which not all vacation rentals have! Towels and beach toys as well. We even found some aloe to help when we missed some spots with sunscreen! It was very convenient having in-unit laudery too. We all wish we could have stayed longer!

a stay by the beach

The condo was perfect for our vacation. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pete was helpful and available for any questions. The condo complex is quiet and friendly. Best of all, it is a short distance (not even a 5 minute walk) to the stairs that lead to the beach. The beach is practically a private beach. It is not crowded in the way a typical California beach is crowded. The weekends have a few more people, but during the week, it's you and the surfers! Nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. I love this VRBO!

This property is Located in the lush and beautiful Seabluffe community in Leucadia on the north end of Encinitas--an oceanfront complex sitting on the bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean. Take the private stairs down to the beautiful uncrowded beach below to enjoy the perfect surf and sun. If you can peel yourself away from the beach for a day or two, why not not take the kids ten minutes up the road to Legoland? Or maybe jump on the 'Coaster' at Encinitas station and train it to downtown San Diego for awesome restaurants, shopping, and nightlife? Just two miles down historic Highway 101 is downtown Encinitas, with it's beach-chic vibe. Great food, funky shops, and exciting nightlife make it a scene you'll want to come back to over and over again.
