About Bob Cotton

When we bought our home in 2000, we were newly married and excited about living in the hip Highland Square neighborhood. Sadly, we outgrew our charming first home with the addition of our two boys. We've always loved this house and its location, and we are excited to share it with you.

Very comfortable & cozy

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at Bob's cottage over Labor Day weekend with some friends. We loved how quaint and cozy the layout of the house was, with a huge loft area for the girls to get ready in. The back yard area provided a perfect place for us to enjoy the perfect weather and grill out. The Highlands area is very convenient to downtown Denver, and has plenty of accommodations within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again, thanks Bob!

Small house right in the city

  • 5 of 5

We (my wife, my 2.5 year old, my mother-in-law and I) recently stayed at the Highlands cottage for a 4 night trip and absolutely loved it. Though the house is small, it certainly makes up for it with its three bedrooms and open living room. Even with my MIL with us, we were never on top of one another and had plenty of space. This house was walking distance to the farmers market on Lowell and 32nd as well as some great restaurants and shops. Quick drive to Tennyson, downtown and pretty much anywhere we needed to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute older home, great location

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay here. We had hoped for a little more, setup outdoor living space, but honestly it was too hot to spend much time outside while we were there. The location was great for walking to restaurants, ice cream and a Farmers Market. Overall a good experience and a good place to stay.

Great little house in a nice neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay here. Just a few blocks to a business area with some nice restaurants and a fun farmer's market. An easy drive to the rest of Denver. Our oldest daughter loved the upstairs window seat.

Great location but needs some fixes and deep cleaning

  • 4 of 5

Stayed at the house for a month while looking for a house - amazing location! Close to LoDo and all the amazing restaurants on 32nd. Never saw the owner but was easily able to reach him and communicate. The house has two bedrooms on the main floor (queen bed & 2 single beds) and a king bed on the upstairs floor. One small bathroom where your knees touch the wall when using the toilet. There were 2-3 parking spots for the house in the alley and a small fenced yard out back that was great for our dog and cat.

Overall, the house needs some TLC and deep cleaning. There were some repairs the house needed: fixing the door handles, the kitchen faucet, burners on the stove not working, fence gate jamming up when it rained, and the non-covered parking equated to our car having extensive damage in the May hail storm.

But... We would stay there again. It was a great place to "live" when our family of three + dog + cat + 2 cars moved to Denver. There were games and toys provided at the house that our 3-yr old son loved. Very family and animal friendly house, and again, the location! Great place to stay.
