About the Property
This 1 bedroom apartment in a great location is walking distance to everything.
We are offering a great one bedroom apartment at a resonable price. The location is excellent and is perfect for a visitor to Jerusalem. The bedroom has two twin beds pushed together and the couch in the living room is a sleep sofa and can be used as a bed for one adult or two children . There is one bathroom. There are 22 stairs to climb from the sidewalk to the apt door. We have A/C and heat and we provide linen and towels. We can also provide a crib for a baby if needed.. There is a microwave and toaster ovens. We have kosher dishes and pots and non kosher dishes and pots .
We provide kosher dishes and pots for kosher , sabbath observant guests. we also provide non kosher dishes and pots for guests who are not kosher. we have a non kosher toaster oven and two toaster ovens for kosher guests, one for milk and one for meat.

Car: Not Necessary
The location is wonderful for tourists. The apartment is walking distance to the Old City of Jerusalem where both Jews and Christians can visit their respective holy sites. The Western Wall is just a 20 minute walk away and could be even closer depending on which entrance you
The Mamilla Outdoor Promenade has great shopping and restaurants and cafes. The downtown or city center neighborhood is also a 5 minute walk away and people can browse all the shops and find lots of great places to eat. You can find Israeli fast food like falafel or shwarma or elegant dining in a fancy restaurant.
Public transportation is excellent near the apartment and the new Jerusalem light rail stops only one block from the apartment. Many bus lines run near the apartment too. There is a large outdoor parking lot one block away from the building so if you rent a car you can find parking there. The rates are reasonable and they give a weekly rate too.

About the owner: We moved to Israel from the US in 1986. I am from Brooklyn,New York and my husband is from Houston Texas. We have a wonderful family and we love living in Israel. It is very special. We bought this apartment in 2012 to help support our married son who is studying.

We love the location of this apartment. It is perfect for tourists . We bought the apartment and gutted it and renovated it with the help of a decorator. It looks very nice and is comfortable for a couple or a couple with one child

The unique benefit of the apartment is the proximity to the Western Wall and the Old City. It is also very close to the new Mamilla Shopping Promenade with lots of restaurants and cafes, The apartment is also only one - two blocks away from the center of downtown Jerusalem where shopping and eating options abound. You can find anything from Israeli fast food to elegant dining and everything in between. You can find great Judaica and gifts shopping on the Mamilla Promenade or the downtown/ city center neighborhood. The apartment is also only one-two blocks to a stop on the new light rail which travels all around the city. It is also close to many different bus routes . There is an outdoor parking lot only one block away if you plan to rent a car and an indoor parking garage just across the street from the building.
