10 stars!!!

  • 5 of 5

What can I family of three, a 22 year old and 2 -49 year olds stayed at Ann's place for 8 days. It had all the amenities of home, the beds were comfortable everything we needed was available for a terrific stay. The location is fantastic and after one day we were travelling around on the subway to Virginia and the Smithsonians in DC like we had always lived there. It is very walkable also to the Smithsonians which is what we did most days. The "eastern market" has everything you need for food and is about a 8 minute walk from Ann's place

Ann is amazing as are the friends of hers she introduced us to. She also has a beautiful dog Abby who we really enjoyed!

The offer stands Ann, if you are ever close to Regina, Saskatchewan Canada you have a place to stay! Bring Abby, Ted can come to LOL! We will have a bottle of "red" waiting for you

Thanks again Darren, Michelle and Kaitlin

Beautiful and safe

  • 5 of 5

This was an amazing place to stay! A really nice, safe neighborhood. It was spacious and well lit. The bathroom was great and the washer and dryer super convienent. A few blocks to a subway station which is no big deal. If you like to cook the eastern market has a high market and the kitchen in the apartment does the trick. We could uber anywhere in the mall for under 10 bucks. Ann was super helpful. It was an awesome place to stay!

Great Stay

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our trip to DC. Ann was great to work with and answered all questions in a timely matter. The condo was comfortable and well represented. If you are not use to a large pet on the upper floor, it was a bit too loud especially at 6:45 am every morning ( I did not say anything). It is a basement apartment and there is no sound barrier between ceiling and upper floors. Transportation to city was a few blocks walk to catch a bus and then onto the metro rail to get to places in the city was complicated at first, but eventually caught on. Recommend a Smart Trip Pass card to get around city. Grocery shopping was a bit of a walk away and for a person whom is not as active it was very far to travel there and back with bags. Walked late at night a few days was eerily quiet and safe.

Perfect location for exploring DC

  • 5 of 5

My husband and i recently stayed at this apartment during a short visit to DC. The apartment was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for exploring the city. It is on a charming, quiet residential street. Ann was great to work with, very responsive, and the apt. had many nice touches. The bathroom appeared to have been recently and very tastefully updated. She even brought us gourmet coffee and cream upon our arrival. The apt. is small, and being in a basement, does not provide much natural light, but it's perfect if you will be out and about. We walked everywhere. The price is great for the location. I would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

Great neighbourhood plus

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this property a great deal. We thought the neighbourhood was great-so much enjoyed walking around the streets in the evening with so many friendly people out and about. The nearby Eastern Market is particularly lively on the weekends.

Ann was an enthusiastic and welcoming host and the apartment contained everything we needed and was extremely comfortable and cool. All in all it was a memorable stay.

Recommend Mr Henry's for a drink and a light meal.
