Secluded and Cozy

Well worth the investment. Very clean and easy to reach. Views are outstanding. Lake very clean and easily accessible. Suggest bringing an insect fogger (if allowed) and Deep Woods Off. Plenty of wildlife. A bonus trail down the point that our dog loved. We would love to return. Indian River, Cheboygan, Mackinac City and Mackinac Island are all very close. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

The perfect UpNorth vacation spot

Great cottage with clean, comfy beds, quiet street, terrific lake view, nice atmosphere! You really don't have to go anywhere once you're there. There's the clear lake, dock, BBQ, movies to watch and lots of charm.

Great time and great location

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at this perfectly located cottage near the mouth of the Indian River on Mullett Lake. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. There were two families of 5 each and we had plenty of room. The location is right near the Indian River entrance and just down from a popular boaters beach. Kathy and Tom were great to work with and the kids especially liked the jar of chocolates set out on the counter when we arrived. Our only concern was the zebra mussels which can be hard on the feet, but nothing some cheap watershoes couldn't fix. Overall an excellent week in a very nice cottage.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review! Yes Zebra mussels have become a problem in all inland lakes, thank goodness for the swimming shoes.
