What makes this house unique

One of the benefits our home has is a great location. We are located very close to town and one of the big draws is the harbor in the summer and the charming shops in Camden. Once you are in town, you can walk everywhere to drug store, grocery store, restaurants. Mount Battie is the Mountain behind our home on Mountain Street where this house is located and it is a big draw for hikers from all over. You can walk to the entrance from our home.

Great location and plenty of space

  • 4 of 5

We had a great week in Camden. The owners were great to deal with, and checked in with us after we arrived to make sure we were all set. The road was a little busy, but the house is in a great location with lots of space. We thoroughly enjoyed the big back yard with a tadpole pond, and we used the fire pit on several evenings. Kitchen was well stocked with incidentals, and the linens were plentiful and like new. Lots of fun day trips, drinks and food. Thanks!

Best kept secret in Camden

  • 5 of 5

If you want a unique place to stay off of the beaten path, this lovely restored farmhouse is your best choice. This home is very special! It has so much character and charm. It is comfortable, convenient, and has everything you could possibly need. The owners are very nice, accommodating, and helpful. They responded promptly to all of our requests and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and knew where everything was. Camden is a great place to visit and one of our favorite mid coast towns. There is so much to do in Camden and the surrounding areas. We enjoyed going up to the top of Mount Battie where you have incredible panoramic views, visiting different lighthouses, taking a schooner cruise in the bay and overdosing on lobster and fresh seafood. When we did not want to eat out at night, we would pick up steamed lobster from Rock Lobster and bring it back to the farmhouse. We loved being in Camden and staying at the farmhouse. Can't wait to return again!

wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We had group of 8 adults staying in the farm house. We had all been in Camden before as I had grown up there. it was so nice to all have plenty of space in the home if we needed time to work or quiet time, was close to the lake for a quick dip and also the hiking was great too,

The evenings were spent on the back deck, enjoying food and drink, playing games on the lawn and cooking smores in the fire pit.

The home was well stocked and we did do most of the meals in the home.

Great place for a large group of people!

Thanks, Lisa

Comfortable Home for vacationers.

  • 5 of 5

We were pleased with our stay here. The home met all of our needs as a vacationing family. As a home base while taking day trips to local attractions it was nice to come home to a house that offered all of the amenities of home. We loved making the short drive to Camden and exploring all that it had to offer. We cooked at home and we dined out and enjoying both. It was great to have the option to stay in and relax. The Owners, Patti and Mark were nice and very helpful with suggestions about things to do and see. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, and around the fire pit at night gazing at the stars. The view of the mountain behind the house was nice as well

Comfortable House

  • 5 of 5

Our party of five enjoyed our stay here. The town of Camden is one of our favorites and we have been vacationing here for the past 25+ years. The house was in a great location: very close to the hiking trails of Camden Hills State Park, the town, the lake and beaches. The house was a nice size, with a lot of different areas to sit. The house had everything that you possibly would need and was neat and tidy. My 92-year-old mother loved the breezeway! The linens and towels provided were of a good quality. The backyard, complete with a pond, and the deck was a very nice touch. We enjoyed many a night on the deck! Patti & Mark stopped by to introduce themselves and see if we needed anything. We highly recommend this house and look forward to staying here again.

Interesting house and GREAT location!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay in this comfortable home complete with all the amenities one would want on vacation. The house has a unique layout, which we admired, and it was plenty spacious for 6 adults. The house was in a perfect location (close to town, hiking, and lake) so we didn't have to spend much time driving to activities. Camden Hills State Park is a gem and the views up Mt. Megunticook are breathtaking. We enjoyed Barrett's Beach at the nearby lake and stopped at a farm stand less than a mile from the house every day to pick up fresh, locally-grown produce! The owners generously accommodated us with a baby by providing a crib and high chair. The kitchen was well-stocked with staples and equipment and we enjoyed many home-cooked meals. The only disappointment was that the bikes at the house were not in good enough shape to ride.
