A Fantastic Experience
From the moment of booking and the first communication with the owner, George, it became obvious that this was going to be a great stay - and it didn't disappoint. The house is lovely and in a great location, near enough to town and facilities but also fairly private.
We were delighted to see they had decorated for Christmas including a tree.
George was extremely helpful throughout.
We would thoroughly recommend it.
I am very happy that you enjoyed your stay. Coming all the way from London you deserved a pleasent stay. Hope you had a good flight going back home
Love it, 5 star! Perfect location
Walking distance to lake, nice environment,
cozy house, nice for 5-6 sleep
My wife and I stayed in this house at the end of October 2017. We were amazed at how beautiful the home and property are maintained. The furniture appears new and the gas fireplace was perfect for those chilly nights. The screened in porch in the back is very nice and we saw deer almost every morning grazing in the back yard including an 8 point buck. It is very peaceful and quiet in this neighborhood and we would recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice weekend getaway. Even though I am a native of this area, George provided us recommendations for good places to eat during our stay and provided us instructions for turning on the hot water and well pump. We love this place and will be coming back soon! Thank you George for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home and enjoy fall in the mountains of Pennsylvania.
Very quiet clean and close to a lot of attractions
Beautiful house, tastefully decorated, clean, furniture in excellent condition. One of the few times we slept in a bed that was comfortable. Instructions very clear on what to do. Did not want for anything. Great stay.
Thank you Donald for taking the time to submit this review. Glad your Mom had a safe trip back to Florida.
