Wonderful, relaxing spot on the river

  • 4 of 5

This house is really set up for relaxing. The furnishings are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, the outdoor areas are the best I've encountered, and we got a lot of use out of the kayaks and canoes. I would definitely stay here again. The road noise is there, but I think you would find that anywhere on the river. Wish they had a dock, but it didn't keep us from enjoying the river. There just isn't anywhere to sit and watch your family having fun when you've had enough water and sun.

Lovely property with all the amenities.

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful New Year Eve with family friend and we all enjoyed our stay. Though we missed watching the college payoff games. Property has a beautiful yard and all of us loved the kitchen. It was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with TV and it was handled quickly someone had moved the channel off #3. We played golf and went wine tasting. Great location

This property is nothing short of amazing and was exactly what my family needed for a quick weekend getaway. The property listing does not do this location justice. The house was clean and well appointed. The decks and the backyard were absolutely heavenly! I loved that the property was fenced so my dogs could run around freely and enjoy the yard as well. The extra bonus was the walkway down to the river to make use of the canoes that are convienently stored underneath the main deck. I would definitely rent this property again!

Beautiful, comfortable space

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed this house. It was big enough for five adults to gather as well as for everyone to do their own thing. The large backyard was great for the dogs, who were out of their minds with joy with all the space to run in. Comfortable, well-stocked, beautiful. Nice to hang out in the hot tub. The only reason for four stars was that the downstairs bedroom was a bit drafty and took some time to warm up, which made it less than comfortable for a couple of our group members. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful time

  • 5 of 5

We rented this home because our son was getting married in the vicinity. Our family and dog were able to stay here and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and be part of the wedding too. It was perfect for our family and our German Shepherd. Everything we needed was in the house and the decks and hot tub were very comfortable and welcoming.

Fabulous vacation on the river

  • 5 of 5

We rent a different dog-friendly house in California every summer, and this one was probably our favorite. The house is just beautiful, decorated with interesting art, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a week of cooking, swimming, playing games and hanging out on the deck. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Comfortable beds, nice linens, and a great little coffee and tea station by the front door. Amazing views from the deck of the river, the redwoods, and an elegant weeping willow tree, with lots of birds everywhere. The yard is spacious and open; great for kids to run around and play. The river was easy to get to; we were out there every day on the kayaks / inner tubes / canoe that came with the house. There are a few stairs to get up to the house and down to the river, so it might not be ideal for people with physical limitations. One of the greatest features is that the (huge) yard is truly fully gaps our old beagle really got to explore and we didn't have to worry about her escaping. The location is central, about 5 min drive to downtown Guerneville, and not much farther to Monte Rio, Duncan's Mills, and Jenner. We had such a quiet, relaxing week with no worries. Our guests were really impressed with the house too. Thank you for a wonderful getaway!
