What an amazing family destination!
My extended family of 12 just celebrated an early Christmas at this beautiful home. It is even better than the pictures. The kitchen is HUGE and comfortable for several people to prepare a meal and just hang out all at the same time. The dining and living areas are also spacious and comfortable. It rained all weekend, so we spent most of our time enjoying Christmas movies around the roaring fireplace and playing games at the dining room table. But despite the rain, the grounds are gorgeous and the amazing view can be taken in from a huge screen porch, deck and even from the house with so many windows! We have started a new family tradition at 25 New Morning Lane and we will be back in 2017!
Great family retreat
Our extended family just stayed at 25 morning lane over the long Labor Day weekend. We stayed 4 nights. And honestly did not want to leave. I told jerry ( the owner) that the pictures do not capture how awesome this place is. Everything about this home is first class and very comfortable. We had 13. And were not crowded at all. The grounds are perfect for hanging out or playing whatever. We played cornhole near the fire pit. Great setting. Plenty of parking if you have large group. Screened in porch was well used . HD TVs were great for watching the Georgia / NC game. Queen bedroom suite on main floor worked great for my elderly parents. Very convenient to cashiers yet secluded. Thanks again Jerry . It was just what our family needed. Darrell Augusta,Ga.
Wonderful mountain house for families
We just spent 4 nights at the house. We had 4 families all with kids under 7. The outdoor space is unreal: tetherball, horseshoe pits, volleyball, room for more fun and smores by the fire pit to finish off the day. We spent every minute outside. We will definitely be back in the near future.
Superb family mountain retreat!
A fabulous home in Cashiers, NC. Beautifully decorated. Fully equipped kitchen. Lovely property tucked away in the mountains yet very close to town. Our family travelled with 2 other families. We had 6 adults and 6 kids and plenty of room. Great setup for families with pre-teens/teens--- they can have their own space in the basement/bottom floor. Plenty of outdoor areas, lawn. Our teenagers played capture the flag & flashlight tag - they loved the outdoor space. And the adults enjoyed the beautiful living areas and outdoor deck areas. Fire pit was great for making smores. We prepared many lovely dinners. The home is geared for entertaining-- adults & kids! My group is very picky about accommodations & everyone was extremely pleased with the home. The owner is very easy to deal with & helpful, and responds quickly. I highly recommend this home. You won't be disappointed. Would definitely stay here again!
Girls Weekend Away
I have stayed in this gorgeous home twice and am planning another trip this fall. We have a girls only weekend away with about 14 staying in the home. This home is perfect. We all love it and the decor is perfect for the mountains. Its close to town and there is plenty of out door space. Its definitely a place to escape and forget about reality!! Jerry, the owner is awesome to work with. He is a gem!! If you haven't stayed here, you should! Its perfect!
Fabulous family find !! We were so happy we found Jerry's house on VRBO.
Perfect house for our 3 generation family vacation. The grassy yard and surrounding area for running and playing suited our 4 grandchildren under age 7 to a tee ! Porches are safe for kids to play. Ate every meal on the screened porch. Cooked hotdogs and s'mores in the great firepit. Fun horseshoe tournament. Lots of comfy space for all.
New Morning Lane is very close to town yet in a lovely high elevation private location.
