Peaceful and tranquil home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay! The home is situated in the country, close to farms and has a beautiful view of Sleeping Giant. The area is really quiet, which allows for great sleeping and relaxation. The only sounds we heard were the occasional cows from nearby properties mooing in the background, which just added to the charm of everything. The bedrooms were spacious, as was the layout of the home. The kitchen is very modern with high-end appliances -- we cooked all of our meals and usually ate on the porch. We also had access to the washer and dryer, which was fantastic after a few days trekking the island. The home is close to beaches, the airport, downtown Kapaa and grocery stores. Basically, it was the perfect vacation home and we were fortunate to have found it.

Lovely Place - wonderful view - very quiet and private

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time in this home. Since it is a little out of town it is very quiet and there is a great view. Everything was as described - it was clean and all the equipment was good - the shower was wonderful especially after the beach.

We did have some issues with the TV Cable box, but after a few emails back and forth, it was resolved by Brandon - note that there is a DVD player changer which needs to be on in order for the sound to come through - but we could not load any DVD's and Brandon could not remember how it works. It would be helpful to ask about instructions for the TV Cable box - there are 3 remotes that need to be used.

We Will Be Back Next Year!

  • 5 of 5

Amazing house inside and out. The pictures don't quite do the house justice. Awesome views from every part of the house with an incedible patio. Kitchen was amazing with everything you need to make a meal and then some. Overall great house with great communication with the owners. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful place to come home to after hiking all day!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

The house was as described. The place was clean and maintained. It was centrally located on the east side of Kauai and perfect for a hiking family of four. Had a wonderful view of the water from the back porch. Brandon was always responsive via phone or email. We did a lot of hiking all over the island. If you are into hiking you will not be disappointed. He has a book there that will describe all the hiking and other activities on the island. The house was a great place to come back to after a long day of hiking. Waimea Canyon is a must see. It was breath taking. Definitely need to stop at Hee Fat General Store for Shave Ice (an island delicacy).
