About the owner: The Cowpasture River Cabin is located on our family farm in Bath County. My parents purchased this farm over 40 years ago and they lived out their lives here. I moved here, to take over the farm, 8 years ago. We love the beauty, privacy, and the lifestyle that comes with living in the country.
Why the Owner Chose Millboro, VA, USA:
The cabin was designed to blend into the secluded, woods where it is located. My parents wanted to be have a private home that would allow them to enjoy the nature they treasured and worked to preserve. Visitors to the cabin feel the serenity and peace the setting provides.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The setting provides stunning views of a mountain range in the front of the cabin while the the rest of the cabin is surrounded by the forest. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and very comfortable for small groups/families. The combined kitchen/living room allow visitors to gather and socialize easily. The master bedroom and loft allow for privacy for those who want to nap or read. The front porch is favorite spot for early morning sightings of deer while sipping a cup of coffee. It is also a great place for a evening drink after a day of hiking or enjoying the river.
