Perfect stay in every way!
We had such an awesome weekend while staying at this hidden gem, it was more than we could have imagined! There were two small families, 4 adults and 2 teenagers total and the space was perfect. We were a little nervous that it might be tight, but the cottage is open and there were plenty of areas inside and out to occupy. Before our stay, we received detailed information to find the cottage. It is a bit “off the path”, but we were all able to locate it easily. It sits on a very quiet lake and is so incredibly peaceful! During our stay, there were no others on either side of us so we really enjoyed the time spent outside. The cottage was stocked with everything you can imagine! We swam, kayaked, fished, sat around the fire, prepared meals and made some of the most amazing memories that we will always cherish. I can’t recommend this place enough, we look forward to visiting again!
Cute little cabin
The cabin had everything we could need in it. It also had a beautiful view of the water, very quite and peaceful. Would definitely stay there again.
Cute cottage charm surrounded by tranquility
I stayed two nights with our family of four while we visited with family in Hastings. Was concerned the cottage would be too small, but it was perfect! Loved all the quaint rustic touches, open ceiling in the living space, updated bathroom, vintage furnishings. The backyard was so peaceful. Watched the sunrise over the lake while a little muskrat swam along the shoreline. Enjoyed sitting on the dock while the sun set listening to the birds and bullfrogs. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. My teenager opted for the couch, but the bunk beds worked out well for the rest of us. Everything we needed was available even a coffee grinder for fresh ground coffee! No wifi ended up being a blessing so that we were able to spend some quality time as a family watching old vhs classics (jumanji, twister and jurassic park). We had a fabulous stay!
