Formerly managed by The Hidden Mountain Resort, this beautiful cozy cabin has been extensively updated and is conveniently located just 10 minutes outside of Pigeon Forge. The open floor-plan features a great room, dining, and kitchen area with 2 master bedrooms, each with a large jacuzzi tub and private bathroom with walk-in shower. There are two gas fireplaces, one in the great room and one in the upper romantic master loft bedroom. The many recent upgrades include: re-finished kitchen cabinets, tile flooring in the kitchen and bathrooms, new carpet, new great room furniture, new bedding, water treatment system, a stainless steel grill and a new hot tub. The kids will love the hot tub and the wooden checkers table on the rear screened porch. In addition to the rear screened porch, there is a side deck overlooking the mountains and tree tops where you can have coffee and watch the wildlife every morning. Mountain views are much better in the Fall and Winter but we do still have a narrower view in Summer There are also always some neighborhood cats that just seem to love our cabin and call the woodlands home. Every year when we make our annual trip there are new kittens. Guests seem to really enjoy the company. You may also see some raccoons or turkeys roaming around the area. Down the hill from our cabin is a beautiful little fishing pond where you can catch and release or just relax and feed the ducks. The front porch has a swing where you can sit and melt the time away listening to the rain pitter patter on the tin roof. Local attractions include Dollywood theme park and water park, Smokey Mountain National Park (with hiking, horseback riding, tubing, and wildlife viewing), Ober Gatlinburg skiing, outlet shopping, and multiple kids attractions and dinner shows. Some of our favorite activities are driving through Cades Cove where wildlife is abundant, and renting a boat on Douglas Lake. Wonderful memories await you.

We are a family of 4 now living in Frederick County, MD. Our main home is also a log home. The warmth of a log home is too inviting to deny.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this Cabin in 2002
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Sevierville
We chose this property after viewing many and made our decision based on the view, the decor, and the inviting open floor plan.
What makes this Cabin unique
The cabin has some very large windows overlooking the mountains. The mountains, proximity to attractions, and warmth of the cabin make us look forward to our trip each year.

A wonderful getaway for families
We throughly enjoyed our four night stay at the general store. The cabin was perfect for our family of four, the grandparents and our fury child, Lily. It was so nice having two nice sized bedrooms with full size baths. Jacuzzi baths in each bedroom was a real treat! The cabin was well kept and felt very much like home. The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed the deck and the screened porch. It rained while we were there so we were able to enjoy the covered front porch and not get wet. Everything was perfect! We enjoyed the hot tub as well and all of the operation directions were labeled well. The owners pay close attention to details and we didn’t have to worry about a thing during our stay. We will definitely try to book this cabin for our future visits!
We love it!
This was our third stay at this cabin. It is a beautiful, rustic cabin in an equally beautiful location. We’ve never had any complaints and have seen several updates since we first stayed in 2015. The owner is one of the best with communication and quickly addresses any questions or concerns. I would recommend this cabin to anybody looking for a quiet place to stay in the mountains. It is close enough to all the town activities, but has great internet and everything you would need to have a relaxing trip. We hope we can stay at this cabin on every trip to Pigeon Forge.
Loved the cabin!! I Enjoyed the area!! Look forward to returning again!
Loved the cabin! So cute and cozy! Thank you for having six chairs at the table. Appreciated the attention to detail with decorations. Each time I sat down and looked around, I noticed a different piece, so cute!! Awesome hot tub too!! The mattresses could be better but otherwise, we LOVED your cabin, thank you!!
What a terrific place to vacation! The whole house is loaded with features and charm. Top notch.
When we first drove up to the house, we said "wow!" When we went inside, we said it again, and we didn't even bring our belongings in until we could take a "check out this place" video. Loved all the general store themed decor and all the great features, which were more than we could ask for. The property owners were friendly and detailed in their communications. We made good use of the hot tub and grill in the screened in porch. The beds were big and comfortable and both bedrooms were like a master suite... super nice. The location was convenient to all the major attractions. My wife didn't like driving on the very steep and narrow winding roads that led to the house, but I rather enjoyed it myself. All in all, a wonderful stay and we'd do it again in a heartbeat.
A great mountain getaway!
We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and spacious! Would definitely stay here again!
Not really worth the price tag!
The cabin wasn't cleaned by the check in time, as a matter of fact the cleaning crew showed up 15 minutes before check in time. Then wanted us completely away from the property before they would clean it. They were only in there 45 minutes. Not enough time to completely clean the unit. Did not drain, clean, and refill the jacuzzi as was advertised the water in it was still hot they just took a water hose to the area to make it seem as it was cleaned (the first thing we checked. Then we killed a roach. Looked like the cabin needed an exterminator. If the upstairs was taking a shower the water leaked on the person sitting on the toilet downstairs, had been so for a while according to the stain on the downstairs ceiling. Not enough room to turn around to leave driveway, The woodpeckers were drilling the house every morning early. They were eating bugs is why they were there. A little maintenance, exterminator, and cleaning crew would make things much better.
Hello, I would like to address your concerns. As for the cabin not being clean when you arrived, this was a simple mixup between myself and the cleaning crew as I explained to you both on the phone and by email. I have had the same cleaning crew for years and they always thought check-in time was 4 pm when I advertise it as 3 pm. After all these years this is the first time this mixup has ever caused an issue, ever, and I explained this to you. The cabin was ready by 3:30. The only reason they don't want you in the cabin when they are cleaning is because you would simply be in the way , they are certainly not trying to hide anything. I know nothing of a leak. We arrived on the day you checked out for a week stay to do some work to the cabin. I slept downstairs, I never noticed any leak, and we were there a week. When we arrived, we also noticed the woodpecker damage so we hired a new exterminator to deal with the wood boring bees which the woodpeckers are trying to get to. You are in the mountains, there are bugs and wildlife. We can do nothing to the woodpeckers to try to keep them away. We can't harm them, nor do we want to, we can only try to control the bees which should in turn control the woodpeckers. As for cleaning, it typically takes 1 hr with 2 cleaning people, and that is usually enough time. They took 50 minutes when you were there because they were trying to get it ready for you. It was disheartening to hear that someone from your crew was immediately cursing at the cleaning crew because the house was not ready. The cleaning crew does not deserve that type of treatment. It was a simple miscommunication. They drained the hot tub, they always do it, it is against the law not to. As a cabin owner, we live and die by guests reviews. We understand that and we try to do everything in our power to satisfy clients. After we delayed your entry by 30 minutes, I sent an email apologizing and a bunch of suggestions as to where to go, what shows are good, where to eat, etc. If you would have contacted me with any of these concerns when you were there, I could have addressed them. We even spoke after you checked out and you told me your trip was good. We will continue to do our best to satisfy our guests.
