Located in the center of Durango's Historic downtown
This charming condo is located in the historic Jarvis Building in the center of downtown Durango, on the corner of historic Main Street. It was entirely renovated in 2013. This building has plenty of history that you can learn about during your stay. There are wood floors throughout and the option of heat or air-conditioning, depending on your needs. (Permit #13-053)
There is one bedroom with a queen bed, ceiling fan and heat/air-conditioning. The bathroom has been recently renovated where every item was replaced, including all fixtures, shower, toilet, sink, paint and flooring. The original brick walls are exposed on one wall where you will see a fire from years ago uniquely staining some of the brick.
The kitchen is newly renovated as well with wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, wood floors and granite countertops.
The living room has wood floors, heat/air-conditioning, a flat screen television that rotates so that you can view it from multiple locations in the room, 2 new couches, and a small dining table. The high ceilings in this condo give a great feel of space, even though this unit is about 500 square feet. Along with the great location of this condo, you also have a designated parking space so you never have to pay a meter, and in fact, you don't even need a car with the trolley transportation and the central location!
This condo has only 3 stairs to climb to enter the front door. There isn't a washer/dryer, but the laundromat, grocery store, liquor store, Rite Aide, breakfast restaurant, and Baskin Robbins is located behind the condo and across the street. The Durango Steam Train tracks are less than a block away, but the train follows a very strict schedule and doesn't leave until 9 am in the morning, runs about 3 times in the summer and is back by 5pm. There isn't a train in the evening or night since this train does not run for any purpose other than a tourism experience!

Perfect size.for the 2 of us. Excellent location to everything downtown. Robin was very helpful and went out of her way so that we enjoyed the stay.

The property is right by our two favorite restaurants, El Moro and Irish Embassy so we had no worries about being out late. We did a couple of laps on Third and Fourth Avenues for our workout. This condo is located on the corner of 10th and Main Street. You walk out your front door and have everything at your fingertips. From shopping, food, bars, to massages, the railroad and the river...everything is practically within an arms reach. Who needs a car when you are smack center in historical downtown Durango!
