About Melissa Santa Cruz

We have been coming to Colorado for years and couldn't wait to put down roots. We currently living in Mexico but our home is in Austin, TX. We love the down to earth life of Austin and the Frisco, Copper Mountain area.

Melissa Santa Cruz purchased this condo in 2013

Why Melissa Santa Cruz chose East Village at Copper

We are very excited to have purchased this property in our very favorite ski mountain. We have been coming to Copper Mountain for 15 years and knew this place was special when we bought it. We have skied other mountains but we always come back to Copper. This property in Anaconda was perfect because we like the whole extended family to join us and it is so close to the lift.

What makes this condo unique

We love the private deck upstairs that gives us a great view and beautiful treetops to decorate for Christmas. In addition, the unit's proximity to the to the Super Bee lift.

Great space, great location, well appointed, well maintained, well stocked, and so, so tidy!

  • 5 of 5

When our daughter and son-in-law announced that their wedding and reception would be at the East Village of Copper Mountain (where they live), we jumped at the chance to rent this Anaconda condo. The description of the unit does not overstate its excellent features. We comfortably filled its four bedrooms, with sleeping room to spare, and even hosted two well attended wedding-related gatherings, in addition to serving as the "staging area" for the bride and her attendants. Kudos to Melissa Santa Cruz and the Carbonite team for providing an excellent VRBO offering!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate them and I will definitely let Carbonate know. I've seen many weddings take place in Copper and it's nice to know that we could help create a positive experience for you and your family. Best wishes to all of you! We look forward to your future visits back to Copper Mountain.

Great condo for families!

  • 4 of 5

We had 3 families traveling together and the unit was great. More than enough beds and bathrooms for our group. Well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and a crock pot that came in very handy. Also just a short walk to the lift.

excelente estancia y super vistas del complejo.... por su segundo nivel.

  • 5 of 5

Excelente !!!!!, excepto por el aparcamiento que esta en otra torre de departamentos.

Lo único que le falto es un grill, muchos de los otros departamentos lo tienen en sus terrazas.

Super Ski Condo

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful condo! We had a large group of adults and young adults that filled all beds. At first blush was a little concerned that it might not be big enough, but we never felt we were cramped or crowded. Kitchen was well stocked, all appliances worked and beds were super comfortable. The only complaint is the humidifier in the master bedroom is too small as it dries up overnight. Location was excellent, as advertised. A very easy walk to Super Bee lift. While Copper could have used more snow during our time there, you can hardly blame the owner! Would definitely stay there again when we come back.

Copper Mountain Fun!

  • 5 of 5

Our group overall really enjoyed Anaconda 201 unit for our group ski trip, and would highly recommend. On a plus side, it is a nice well maintained condominium in a desirable area of Copper Mountain Resort. It was only a short walk to the ski lift. The condominium was well appointed and comfortable for our group. The owner was excellent to deal with as well. Several minor criticisms: 1. the drains and toilets did not drain well but that could be fixed. 2. could have been a bit more generous with towels considering there is a hot tub for the condominium 3. If it snows overnight - be prepared for loud snow removal equipment EARLY with the back-up beep, beep beeps 4. the loft is really tiny and only appropriate for kids or teens who are ready for a small loft to sleep in 5. be prepared for a "resort fee" for all of the restaurants and dining establishments in the Copper Mountain Resort area which gets a little pricey; 6. the garaged parking spot was too short for my Ford Expedition "full size" SUV may want to check on that; and 6 finally, put your earliest riser in the king bedroom near the kitchen/eating area because that bedroom gets all of the noise of anyone doing anything in the kitchen.

Great skiing made easy

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommended -- we had a great time at this condo! There were 6 of us, though the place could easily accomodate a lot more. Extremely comfortable -- great modern kitchen, lots of beds/bedrooms (each with its own bathroom), lots of storage space for skis and gear, and convenient parking. We love skiing but hate the hassle of parking lots, lugging gear, and crowded lodges. This condo is literally a 1 minute walk away from the lodge, rental shop, and Super Bee lift, which made it all a breeze. Purchase lift tickets on-line and pick them up at the lodge -- it's a lot cheaper! The only small hitch was that there was a mix-up with the cleaning crew when we got there, but Melissa the owner was on it right away and straightened things out immediately. The only caution I would offer is that East Village is the more challenging side of Copper Mountain, so beginner skiers may find it intimidating. That said, it is possible to work your way over to easier trails from the top of Super Bee via the Easy Road trail, and there are lots of free buses to the other villages, and the beginner skiers in our group were totally comfortable skiing the East Village trails by the end of our trip. We loved this place and look forward to going back!!
