Warm, spacious, large, and reasonably priced home in Paradise Valley
Why Sivakumar chose Paradise Highlands
We have been living in the same suburb for nearly 15 years. We have enjoyed every minute of it. This property sits on a high mountain overlooking Camelback Mountain and the City. The stunning views is what attarcted me to the property. We could pass hours with only the views for company. Older home, comfortable, not intimidating.

Arizona golf trip with 3 sons!
The captivating feature with this rental is the location. Scale from 1-10; it’s 10! The house itself was clean but needs a new and thorough face-lift, e.g., re-plaster the pool to make it blue again. Overall it was worthy of the rate but with some fixing up could go for twice the nightly amount.
I rented this house for a 'guys' golf vacation. Overall we had a good experience at the house.
Was as advertised.
Amazing location and views.
Great patio, grill & pool area.
Big spacious well stocked kitchen.
Easy (check-in, access, etc.)
Would be nice if the place had a hot-tub. Weather was a bit cool, so the pool wasn't an option. A hot-tub/jacuzzi wold have been VERY nice to use after long golfing days.
Place is a little old and out-dated in some ways (architecture, old worn plaster in pool, etc.).
I summary, it was a great value on a great house! Nothing super fancy (other than the views/location), but just perfect for what we were looking for!
Property sits up on a hill just north of Camelback Mountain and just west of Camelback in. Unbelievable views of downtown Phoenix, Paradise Valley & Scottsdale. Large deck area, small, but serviceable pool. I give the house itself 3.5 to 4 stars. Some of it has been updated and is very nice, but some of it is outdated. However, it was comfortable, plenty of seating, and well stocked kitchen so perfectly acceptable for us. The view more than makes up for any drawbacks on the house. Owner was responsive during the rental process and while we were there. Would rent it again.
Too Many Things Did Not Work
1 of 2 kitchen microwave ovens did not work. The main kitchen refrigerator did not work. Several light bulbs were out. Finding the correct switches for lights was an adventure. No instructions on how to operate various things was available. The interior décor was from the 1970s.
The view was spectacular.
Wonderful views and plenty of space. We had a great time this weekend!
Great View, home with character
Wonderful time home was clean and great for couples
Paradise valley is a relatively small area with a small population compared to other municipalities in the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is home to twelve resorts making it one of Arizona's premiere tourist destinations with high value real estate. City laws stipulates that maximum housing density is not to exceed one unit per acre, preserving the desert and brings a special quality to the area. It is unique in maintaining the feeling of living in the Sonoran Desert while right in the middle of the city.
