Fun winter getaway

  • 4 of 5

This old house definitely has lots of charm. We visited during one of the coldest weather advisories and managed to stay warm and cozy. The pellet and wood stove were used to make sure house stayed toasty. The separate living room for kids was awesome to give adults some quiet time. The Wii and the closet of games were a big hit.

We were very happy with the property

  • 4 of 5

One feedback is lack of cable tv- I understand location is remote and the owners have now updated the listing to say no cable- for certain people and fir certain occasions (like me and football playoffs) it would have been nice to have cable

Excellent for a family

  • 4 of 5

We had my entire family together for my parents' 50th anniversary, all 13 of us. This house was wonderful, very comfortable for that many people. The backyard was great, the kids even got to have a dip in the brook in the back and we had a nice fire a couple of nights. My only complaint was that alot of screens had holes that allowed bugs in and keeping windows closed in July just isn't possible. (Mentioned to landlord and he said he would look into it)I would definitely go ,back, lovely area and close to NH.
