Guestbook comments from the owner

I had spoken with a few other rental places before choosing you guys. I wanted to tell you that there was another availability, but your friendliness and cooperation is what decided for me. Also, thank you for being so reasonable with the cabin rental as well as the unfortunate doggy damage. I really enjoyed my trip and when I come back, you guys will definitely be the first I will contact in regards to cabin rentals. Thank you again!

Beautiful, peaceful, and very well-kept!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our time at the Lindsey Mill cabin! It was just far enough away from the touristy parts of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, and the drive to and from was beautiful! Our dog Maggie couldn't get enough of the pond and stream, and loved to play in both everyday! The cabin was very clean and neat, and extremely well stocked (more than expected) for our stay. The sound that the stream makes everyday is something I wish I could bottle up and have with us at home....washed all stress and worry away! We will definitely come again soon and are recommending this cabin to everyone we know! Thanks for making our vacation feel like home away from home!!

Log Cabin

What an amazing place to stay!! A rushing sound of a creek to lull you to sleep. An historical place to stay. Two porches, one to sit in the hot tub and listen to the creek. The other is off the master which is relaxing for reading, journaling or just watch and listen to the water and nature.

Homey stay

  • 5 of 5

We arrived on Wednesday and our 1st impression was it was very rustic in a good way. The cabin sits on Webb creek. There our a couple homes and a portion of Bent Creek golf course across the street but the cabin is on acreage so there is plenty of room. We brought our dog and it was nice to allow her to explore so it is great for dog lovers like me. The property is pretty level. There is a small road that goes back to a water treatment plant but there was very little traffic. We had a fire in the old chimney firepit outside the first night. I would guess it had been originally part of a home at one point. I would love to know the story.

There is a small pond in front of the cabin. I don't fish but I did see little fish and plenty of frogs. There is a older chain link fence around it for safety.

You can hear some traffic from Hwy 321 since it is a short distance away but it wasn't too bad. We walked the trail on the golf course along Webb creek. Very pretty!

Now the crazy day we had on Thrusday. A wind storm came through in the morning and caused lots of damage around the area. A tree fell on a truck across the road! Tree limbs fell throughout the area and whole trees fell across the creek. The power went out for about 8 hrs but came back on before nightfall. Never regained internet or cable tv. The property manager came to survey the damage and had her maintance guys cleaning up the property right away. Everyone else in the Gatlinburg area was in the same boat. We took it in stride. Mother Nature can't be controlled!

The cabin is about the perfect size. I could actually live here happily! One room with kitchen/living room downstairs with a large bedroom upstairs. Awesome large fireplaces on both levels and balconies also. We did not use the hot tub but there was one.

One thing that could be improved would be the comfort of the balcony furniture. The history alone is worth staying here. It beats a generic hotel room for sure.

Tammy was the person we spoke with and she was very easy to deal with any time we spoke with her.
