Cute Rustic Cabin
I loved the cabin...I hated the bed! Bed was in my opinion way to hard...as a result I woke up in pain each day. Our visit to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was disappointing due to the hurricane traffic and both have just gotten to big for my liking...I visited both on a few occasions over the years and they are now just too commercial for me. Cades Cove was breath taking but not at all dog friendly...we had hoped to do some hiking but there is very limited places where dogs are allowed...If one is planning on visiting the area with their dog unless you plan on spending all of your time at the cabin you might think twice about bringing your dog.
Christine and I spent the week of 9-5 to 9-12 at the cabin. What a wonderful and relaxing time. Cabin had everything we could need, the pond was great for fishing and our Leonberger loved chasing the fish. Caught a few Bluegills and saw a few trout. The hot tub was great and the cabin was in great shape and very clean. Spent a lot of time rocking on the deck out back and taking strolls through the neighborhood, very private and well kept. A/C worked great and kitchen was well supplied with utensils and cookware. Shower was great, I’m a big guy and the size of the shower was appreciated. Loved the bed and bedroom, very comfortable and spacious.
Thank you so much for a wonderful week.
Tim, Christine, and Titan...
Cabin was just as described.
We had a great time ...Cabin was clean and everything worked. We would go back again next time we would love to stay in the winter months cabin would be cozy
Thank you for your 5 star review. Yes, the cabin is great in the winter, especially with the fireplace in the master bedroom! Please come back!
What a peaceful, unique cabin by the stream!
My husband, 2 dogs and I stayed in the cabin for 5 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the location, especially the stream out the back door and the pond on the other side of the cabin with fish, turtles and bull frogs. The Cabin was perfect for us and close enough to town for hiking and shopping without being right in the middle of town! We hope to stay again.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We hope you come back too!
Always love staying at Lindsey Mill
This is the seventh or eight time we've stayed at Lindsey Mill over the years. It's a great place to relax and rejuvenate our minds. The cabin is just a short drive from the activities in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but there are restaurants and a market right across the street if you want to stay in. The Cobbly Nob Café will deliver pizzas and sandwiches to the cabin during the summer months, although we didn't take advantage of that. Can't wait to get back.
Such a lovely place to rest and relax! Enjoyed every minute and hated to leave! Would definitely love to go back! Beautiful area and everyone is so friendly. so much to see , check out Douglas Dam and Lake area! We had problem with hot tub and it was taken care of as soon as we called.
Thank you for your 5 star review!
