About Kevin and Danielle McCarthy
Kevin and Danielle McCarthy have been vacationing on St. John for many years, and bought their first villa there, Coconuts, in 2010. In January of 2013, they had a wonderful opportunity to buy Plumeria, the villa adjacent to Coconuts. They immediately set about adding a number of the differentiated amenities that have proved so popular at Coconuts, and are singularly focused on making their guest's experience the best it can possibly be. Feel free to contact them with any questions that you might have, and they would be happy to email you their 'Welcome' document, which provides lots of helpful information about Plumeria.

First but not last!
Our family of 6 stayed at Plumeria and it was beyond our expectations, clean, comfortable, so much to do. The view from the deck is spectacular. The pool and hot tub were welcoming after a day at the beach. Kevin and Danielle went above and beyond to make this trip for my 60th birthday celebration a once in a lifetime! If the stars align, we would love to return!!!
Plumeria- Perfect Place on St Johns
The location is beautiful with nicely groomed gardens and panoramic views of St Thomas. Sunsets and night sky watching were fantastic. The entire villa was very clean, beds were of high quality, the interior and exterior sitting spaces were very accommodating, and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and spices. Beach supplies included chairs, coolers, and snorkeling gear. Owners were very responsive and informative both prior to and during our stay.
VIEW! VIEW! VIEW!
This was our 4th time renting in St. John and 1st time at Plumeria. It will not be our last! The only complaint we had, was that the deck was so marvelous we never wanted to leave it to head to the beaches! We loved that even on showery days we could be outside under cover. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pool table and corn hole as well. Kevin and Danielle are gracious hosts and very responsive. The bottle of wine to enjoy with our first sunset was so thoughtful and the restaurants suggestions were spot on. They have thought of everything and it shows- as noted in the draw neatly labeled "Useful Items" filled with a sewing kit, "readers", repair kit for glasses, calculator, ruler, etc! When I went looking for clip to close a bag of opened food, I opened the exact drawer I would have put one in at home and there was just what I needed. Highly recommend. Thank you!
NOTE: My only other note is that I may not have chosen this set-up when my kids were young, as the Master Bedroom and Guest Room are both entered from outside and have separate lock and key. There is a loft in the main house with a queen bed and a three twins, so you could have everyone together there, if you chose, but families with young children should be aware of the set-up in advance. The loft is at the top of a spiral staircase which could also be an issue with littles. For us with two grown daughters the set-up was perfect.
You won’t regret it!
We had an absolutely amazing time. The island, the house, and the homeowners were all top notch!
You don't have to look any farther plumeria is the vacation home you need to stay at in Saint John🤗
Dannielle and Kevin were absolutely wonderful to deal with In planning our vacation to Saint John. Everything they said about their lovely home was that and more. Our family has already decided that when we go back that is where we want to stay again. The layout of their home was perfect the views were unbelievable. We all enjoyed the hot tub looking out at the lights on Saint Thomas and cooking on the deck. I could go on and on but you won't be wrong making plumeria your choice to stay🌴🌴🤗
About St. John:
Travelers have once again voted St. John their #1 Caribbean destination in 2013, and for good reason. Thanks to the foresight of the philanthropist and naturalist Laurence Rockefeller, two-thirds of St. John has been and will in perpetuity be preserved in its original state, as part of the U. S. Virgin Islands National Park. Its 35 picture-perfect white sand beaches are each unique, with many of these lying within the boundaries of the National Park. As a result, when you turn away from the Caribbean Sea and look inland, you witness unspoiled virgin green hillsides, looking much as they did back in 1493, when Christopher Columbus discovered and named these islands. St. John's hilly terrain, and the literally hundreds of islands and cays that surround it, provide unmatched vistas and photographic opportunities from all around the island. The V. I. National Park maintains dozens of excellent hiking trails, and well preserved ruins from the era of the sugar mills allow you to step back in time to that earlier period. Despite large tracts of undeveloped natural beauty, St. John also offers extensive fine dining options, and the seaside village of Cruz Bay has many interesting shops to peruse.
If this will be your first visit to St. John, you are in for a treat!
