This is a spacious and flexible accommodation appropriate for families or groups up to 8. The home was renovated in 2009, and consists of a 3 bed/2 bath main house and a 1 bed/1 bath attached guest apartment. There is a living room with kiva fireplace and flat-screen TV, dining room with seating for six that converts to a poker and game table, a huge eat-in kitchen, and vast portal spaces for enjoying the warm sunshine and cool summer nights of Santa Fe.

The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed and an attached office with desk space and wifi. The en suite Master Bath has two sinks and a tub-shower combo. Bedroom 2 has two extra long twin beds, and Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. These bedrooms share a bath with a tub-shower combo. The Guest Apartment, which is attached is one queen bedroom, one bath with shower, and features a small living area with kitchenette. STR permit 15-00131697

Notes:
Easy access to road up to Ski area at Santa Fe mountain for winter sports or hiking. Same road for the Ten Thousand Waves Japanese spa. One block from fitness center. Good neighborhood for early morning or evening walks. Good for sitting in the sun front yard or in the shade under the west covered back portal.

Nice house poorly maintained.

The house fit our needs but the outside was not well maintained. The grass was extremely high like 18 inches. The porches had not been swept or blown. The tv s never worked in any room in the main house.

Great Location, beds and water pressure but...

This house is clean and well furnished. Kitchen is well equipped for cooking in. Beds were comfy and water pressure was great. Master bedroom is large as well as master bath. The whole place is quite large and the living area is beautifully furnished. The Casita is awesome!

We Ubered to The Plaza and walked home...that's how close it is! There is also a walkable Shopping center with a Sprouts and Albertson's food stores along with a small indoor mall with restaurants and shopping.

However, this rental needs a little more attention to maintenance needs. The valve needs adjusting in the shared bath as we couldn't get the water hot enough. All of the smoke alarm batteries were dead. There were light bulbs out. And the back patio area was filled with debris. The TV's in in the main house were not working as there was a problem with the cable. Jose from the cleaning service helped out with the smoke alarms and bulbs the 2nd day but the TV's never were working. Even with all of that, I would rent it again. It's a great place. It would have been 5 stars without the maintenance issues.

Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoyed your stay and am sorry where your experience fell short of expectations. Your call was the first report of batteries or light bulbs needing attention and I believe correction was made within 24 hours of my being notified. Your review is my first notice of a hot water issue in the bath which will be addressed. The first Comcast technician was unable to correct the cable TV issue and although he left his name and number I was never able to reach him to Learn what he found. Calling Comcast offered no additional information but did result in their scheduling a second visit by another technician who was able to update the cabling and the living room TV in the main house is now working. The debris on the patio does not surprise me and is something I have found to require an attitude or perception adjustment on my part. The trees constantly drop debris and sweeping even 2 or 3 times a day does not avoid debris accumulating on the back patio or even the front porch or sidewalks. It is sometimes more and sometimes less. This is a second home or vacation home and does not have Daily or 24 hour maintenance as might be expected at a hotel. The cleaning fee charged helps offset the cost of a one time cleaning and linen change per visit booked. I do of course as part of owning the property provide periodic Mowing, weeding, outdoor sweeping.

Terrific spot for enjoying time in Santa Fe

We spent 10 days as a small family group, enjoying the sights in town and in the region, and attending several evenings at the opera.

The home was very comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was very convenient to everything as well, being right at the northern end of town.

Beautiful home in a great location!! Very spacious!

We loved our stay here in Santa Fe! This home gave us the room we needed for the week! We spent most of our time on the large covered patio... plenty of furniture for everyone to sit! The house was so clean and everything was provided... linens, towels, etc. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and anything you could need! We had a great experience!

Beautiful home, beautiful city, great location!

The house was kept really nice with all the comforts of home. The casita was really wonderful for that family member who snores loudly. The location to town made visiting the Plaza super simple. I would stay here next time I visit!
