(great winter sun). Movable chairs for your preferences.
These same wondrous views can be seen on hikes and by driving. We're in the midst of two National Forests (Carson & Santa Fe), BLM land and two Wilderness Areas (Chama River Canyon & San Pedro Parks Wilderness areas.) Geological, historical, archeological wonders.

About Beth Ferguson
I moved to northern New Mexico in 1999, built my home and guest house on 15 acres of land on a mesa within the Piedre Lumbre Land Grant area across Abiquiu Lake from Ghost Ranch, within the arms of Cerro Pedernal. The mountain is sacred to many locals and indigenous peoples. Georgia O'Keeffe is quoted as saying that god told her if she painted it enough, it would be hers. Many of us are drawn to paint it; in fact, I titled a favorite painting "It's Mine Too!"
Beth Ferguson purchased this Studio in 2000
Why Beth Ferguson chose Youngsville

I've just spent a perfect month at the Pedernal Casita and it's hard to leave.
I came for a month of rest and writing, and the simplicity of the casita made it easy to settle into my work. With the comfortable Murphy bed disappearing into the the wall cabinet each morning, I had a lovely sitting room with stunning views front and back. The tasteful decor, well stocked library and fully equipped kitchen made me feel at home and relaxed from the beginning to the end of the month.
Beth is the perfect host/concierge: welcoming, knowledgeable, responsive and considerate.
The spacious peace of the mesa permeates the casita and I've come away deeply refreshed. And I got some writing done!
Peaceful; warm & friendly
Beth made sure we found our way and even though she wasn't feeling great made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Casita was so sweet. Stars were amazing... we could have stayed longer. Fabulous option!
Welcome back anytime! I love to share this beautiful area with visitors who feel the energetic draw. B
This casita is perfect with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is a peaceful place with an amazing view. Beth is friendly and ready to help if needed. She has a lot of helpful information about the Abiquiu area. We hope to return!!
Thanks so much. Enjoyed having you all. Hope next visit can be longer.
Breathtaking! The little casita on Abiquiu Lake, near Cerro Pedernal is a perfect getaway.
Thanks Beth for making me feel so welcomed and at home. The casita is perfectly set up for comfort, needs and wants. The windows and doors open up the casita on the mesa top, up to the spectacular nature all around. I felt lucky just to be there. On a practical side, the comfortable bed easily folded up a left me with enough space to do my yoga. A pleasant surprise. I recommend highly this getaway. I know I'll be back.
Thanks, Jan. You are a great guest! Exciting to me when guests love this place as I do. I've just restarted leaving water out for the birds so more gather and add exciting diversity to life here on our mesa top. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Beth
