Comfortable, roomy villa in the John Fripp Villas Phase III Unit 143 (over 1500 square feet) located beachfront right next to the Beach Club with a beautiful view and access to the ocean and beach. New boardwalk out to beach just steps away. End unit with lots of windows. Furnished with the comfort of the guests in mind. New features include new expanded patio with sun protection cover, newly painted rooms, beautiful new plank tile in throughout the condo. We added new light fixture and recovered the chairs in the dining room. All new stainless appliances in kitchen and new washer and dryer.
Our completely, on the first floor, unit features a large living room with comfy furniture, full dining room, breakfast room, fully-equipped kitchen with newer cabinets, dishwasher, refrigerator and stove, a laundry area with new washer and dryer, three bedrooms each with an adjoining stand up shower and an expanded patio with 2 tables and 8 chairs. The main patio is covered by deck above, perfect for those who want to stay out of the sun. Unit is clean and decorated for beach comfort. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING INSIDE.
Bedding has all been replaced in the last year. Sleeping arrangements are: Bed 1: one king-size bed, Bed 2: one queen-size, Bed 3: one full and one twin. This unit sleeps 7 comfortably. Maximum occupancy is six adults and 2 small children. Weekly rentals April through December 31. Monthly rentals December, January,February, and March.
Fripp Island is a wildlife preserve that is 19 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina and is situated on a 3000 acre island. We have three and a half miles of Atlantic Ocean Beach, a beach you can walk, bicycle, and play... It's Never Crowded!
Fripp Island Resort has an Amenity Guest Passes policy. As a guest staying in our condo you will have to, prior to your arrival, purchase Amenity Passes through us, in order to use the restaurants, rent equipment, play golf or tennis or use the pools. Rates for amenity passes for anyone age over 13 for the spring/fall are $35.00 each person and the summer rate is $50.00 per person. This rate is a weekly rate. Children 13 and under do not need passes. To enter pool facilities, your card will have to be swiped through a machine which in turn opens the gate.
Relax, enjoy the beach, a great beach to ride bikes on, sit and watch the ocean, play volleyball and games, and enjoy nature and beauty of this great beach. A beach you can walk or jog on while you enjoy the many birds and dolphins and sea creatures. Bring you bike for the trails, With a Fripp Island Amenity Pass you can rent watercraft from our marina, and swim and play in the pools.
This is a wildlife preserve so the wildlife is spectacular as well as the views. With your pass you can play golf at both of the designer courses, Ocean Point designed by George W. Cobb and Ocean Creek designed by Davis Love III. One of our favorites is The Legends at Parris Island which is a beautiful course open to the public. Most public courses offer 18 holes of golf for under $50.
Yes, you can vacation without an Amenity Pass but if you want to use the pools or use any amenity then you will need the passes. We are located on the beach. Beachfront/ocean views from four rooms in the condo and a covered patio to keep you shaded. We can recommend our favorite restaurants in town.
We have an updated kitchen well equipped with absolutely all you need to create wonderful meals. We hope you will consider staying at our condo. We have the most desirable location on the beach. Most of our summer guests come back year after year. Book early as we have a limited amount of summer weeks available. Those who rent from us have the first option to return the same week every year. It's best to check the calendar one year in advance for the summer bookings or call us and we will put you on the list if anything comes open.

About Jean and Ed Meyer
We have made many improvements and always with the family in mind. We currently live in Cincinnati OH and are retired so we do travel quite a bit. Our family loves Fripp and call it their 'Happy Place'.

Because of the great beach location and the view and access through new boardwalk to the beach and ocean. Large patio allows entertaining while protected from the sun. Unit is one of the largest units with 2 inside dining areas. Comfortable furniture, TVs, and Wi-Fi.

Cooking is a pleasure in our kitchen which is well stocked even for the gourmet cook. Lots of window light brings in the sunshine and the view. All the comforts of home. We have the very best location on the beach. Just steps to the beach or just sit on the patio and enjoy the view.

Casual beachfront paradise!
We had a fantastic week at the MYT Sand Dollar. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. There were even handy cookbooks and several spices available. As a family with young children, we appreciated the casual feel of the condo. The location was spectacular. We were able to wake up every morning to a view of the beach and ocean. It was an easy walk out to the beach and conveniently located near two swimming pools. Even though the adult pool and bar were right next door, we were never bothered by noise or crowds. Jean and Ed were very easy to work with, providing plenty of information about the island, local attractions, and places to shop and eat. When we had a problem with one of the bathrooms, they responded quickly. We would definitely consider staying here again!
A wonderful place to take a large family
We have 4 children and drove 18 hours to get to Fripp. We did not realize that it was a private island set up like a resort. We loved every minute we had there. Watching the beach while you eat breakfast to riding a golf cart around to the pools and stores with the kids, we will never forget this trip. Thank you Jean and Ed.
Best condo, best location on Fripp!
My family has been staying in this condo for a week each summer for over 10 years. It has the best location- just steps to the wide beach. Beautiful views and great covered patio. The kitchen has everything you could need and is always neat, organized and clean. We love that each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bedrooms are big and beds are comfy. Can't say enough about how much we love Fripp and love this condo!

Fripp Island Villa
This villa has been our vacation spot for at least 15-20 years. Perfect location for the beach, pools, and golf courses. We really like it there and so does our family. There is new decorating every year and you just feel at home. The owners couldn't be nicer.
We enjoyed the covered patio and proximity to the beach which was great. We do feel that the unit needs to be updated and freshened up as this would certainly help. We've been coming to Fripp over 25 years, and stayed in a variety of housing, but while the beach is always great, sometimes the accommodations are disappointing.
The CJFV condos were built in the late 1970s and therefore, improvements are an ongoing event, although you did not specific what kind of improvements you would recommend. When we bought this condo, no improvements had been done in that 20 years. In the spring we have the carpets cleaned and the furniture cleaned for our guests. We have done a lot of updated with windows, doors, bedding, kitchen update, bedspreads, bathroom toilets, vanities, fans in the bathrooms, the lighting has been updated in both the kitchen and the dining room, painting, new flooring, recover dining room chairs and other changes. We feel the important things while on vacation are: good comfortable beds, comfortable seating in living area, a well stocked kitchen with good cooking equipment, updated appliances that are in good working order, and a clean condo. We rent to a lot of families with children and we believe they appreciate that they can completely relax with their families and enjoy the outdoors and the beach.
We've been coming to Fripp for 20 years and to this specific condo for the last 15. Perfect location--center of the island, across the street from tennis, close to three different pools, stores, and of course beach front and literally steps away from the sand (including chair/umbrella rental and the Sand Bar for an afternoon drink!) There really is no better location than this!
Inside is updated, nicely decorated, and always clean.
