With Barcelona close by, Caldes d’Estrac (aka Caldetes) is a favourite holiday destination for Barcelona families. This is a top floor apartment in a prime location. It was recently renovated to a high standard. It enjoys a full-length balcony overlooking the beach with retractable electric awnings, and has use of a shared swimming pool set in an attractive garden. It has a dedicated parking space in an underground covered parking area. The apartment also benefits from a live-in concierge.

This apartment comprises a master bedroom (with stylish en-suite bathroom); a second bedroom with double bed; a third bedroom with a generous bunk bed; a second bathroom; a spacious dining and living room area leading to the large balcony/deck area; and a modern well-equipped kitchen.

The apartment has quick and easy access to many shops, a great farmer’s market, restaurants, bakeries and cafes and it is only a 4 min walk to the train station which takes you directly to the centre of Barcelona in only 45 min.

An elegant promenade at the front of the apartment runs parallel to the sandy beach and in a few minutes you can walk to the centre of the small town of Caldes d’Estrac. In the summer evenings, there is a festive and fun atmosphere around its various beach restaurants and sidewalk cafés. This pretty spa town is neighbour to other attractive municipalities - Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, Sant Vicenç de Montalt and also Arenys de Mar (famous for its fishing industry and picturesque fishing auctions).

Suitability. Children welcome (please bear in mind that it is on the top floor with the balcony/decking area. This may not be suitable for all toddlers or small children).

At only 45 min by train (the station is a very short walk from the apartment). This great city has a lot to offer. From astonishing architecture, to parks, museums, galleries, art, a zoo, musical venues, designer shops and great restaurants. It has been consistently chosen in recent years as the favorite city destination in Europe.

Our family recently spent a week here. It was wonderful. The flat was even nicer than the pictures. Lots of room and well equipped. The balcony is spectacular. Awesome views and it is massive.

The flat is right on the edge of the beach which is beautiful and runs for many miles.

The local village is small but nice. What we found to be great was the train is only a 3 minute walk and then a very comfortable ride into Barcelona. It makes for a great mix of beach and city vacation.

Imma was very good to deal with. Her info book was a tremendous help and tells you everything you might ever want to know.

We cannot think of even a minor negative aspect and would fully recommend this property to anyone interested.

An exceptional apartment with a view breathtaking ! Just across the sea Separate from the garden and pool, we spent two wonderful weeks. Located at the fifth floor , there is always a fresh breeze and take advantage of the terrace with a sea view 180 degrees and not overlooked . The apartment is very well maintained , bright and tastefully done .

Imma is a person of rare kindness and did everything to make our holiday!

We will return soon.
