Overview

About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 & 1/2 Bath Steps Away From Downtown Historic Geneva

In the heart of Ohio's Wine Country, home to covered bridges and the Grand River Wine region. This fully remodeled carriage house loft can be your home away from home as you enjoy all the area has to offer. The loft has two bedrooms, a full bath with a tiled walk-in shower and dual vanities. The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, dishwasher and with a flat panel TV. The master bedroom has a 2 piece en suite bath. Both bedrooms have a 32' flat panel TV. The cozy living room has a 55' flat screen TV with sound bar. The loft has central air conditioning. The loft is conveniently located just steps away from downtown Geneva, where guests can walk to shops, restaurants, and a winery and is within ten minutes to eight other wineries to visit. We are five minutes from the Village of Geneva on the Lake, Ohio's oldest resort. There is a state park at Geneva on the Lake with boating, hiking and swimming and a canopy and challenge course for those who enjoy adventures. Located just three miles south at I-90 is the Spire Academy, a World Class Olympic Training Facility. We would like everyone visiting us to be aware that our loft is located next to a railroad intersection that runs through our downtown. We have made every effort to reduce the sound from the tracks but train noise is always heard. Most guest become accustomed to the sound. We know you will love to explore Ashtabula county and all of its natural beauty.

Why James Pearson chose Geneva

This property has been in my family since it was built. My great grandfather built the home in 1915 and moved the 1870's carraige house from the property next door when he constructed the home.

Great Place to Stay!!

  • 5 of 5

The loft was beautifully redone, convenient to everything and has everything you'll need to call this place home while you're in Geneva. It was nice coming back to this place after a long day of visiting the many wineries the area has to offer. The owners were a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend.

Beautiful loft, great location

  • 5 of 5

The loft is beautifully decorated, very clean and sufficiently stocked with towels and toiletries for six. The driveway that you're directed to use is very thick gravel and we had the motorcycles so we used the second drive and parked close to our door which the front neighbors were very accommodating. The location was amazing with walking distance to downtown Geneva and we found a $5 shuttle service to Geneva on the Lake. There is a train that runs very close to the loft (which we knew about from other reviews) but it did not bother any of us. We would definitely recommend this property to any of our friends and family.

Such an adorable little house!!

  • 5 of 5

We came for a girls night to be close to some Geneva bars and wineries, however we loved the house son much that we ended up staying in all night!!! It's so modern and cozy, bathroom is absolutely beautiful, and the beds are so comfortable. Only downfall is the loud train in the back yard, if your a light sleeper bring some ear plugs. Over all an absolutely beautiful and charming little place. Would def come back!

Beautiful, clean, well maintained home!

  • 5 of 5

I was so impressed with how nice, clean, and updated this property was! The whole loft is updated with granite counter tops, beautiful tile, stainless steel appliances, and nice furniture. It even has those soft-close drawers in the kitchen! My only complaint, is that the property is close to the train tracks that go through Geneva and trains go by every hour or so, blowing their horns because they are crossing streets. You kind of get used to it after a while, but if you're a light sleeper maybe consider bringing earplugs so you're more comfortable. It is definitely not something that should deter you from staying at this place though! It is well work a little bit of noise! Overall I had a fantastic experience with this property and I would definitely go back!!
