This rustic little house has been newly upgraded to a neat clean cabin with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dinning room. It will accommodate a family comfortably. Large screen TV surrounded by two couches is a great place to gather and watch a movie. Wonderful place to have a romantic get away or a family reunion.

Two large table and chairs, one on the large deck and one under the trees. Gas BBQ on small covered deck and wood fire pit out in the open for outdoor cooking. Also have horseshoe pits for some family fun. Just come and enjoy the clean mountain air, watch hundreds of different species of birds fly around or watch the beautiful sunset over Mt. Mcloughlin. Take your morning coffee and read the signs across the street.

If you are a hunter, fisherman, cyclist, hiker or just need a break from everyday life, you will love it here, at the cabin, life seems to take on a new meaning, so much to see, hear, smell and do.

Snow Park for winter fun, mushroom hunting in the spring, wild flowers to enjoy. Summer offers cooler tempertures at 4300 elevation, yet warm enough to swim at one of the local waters. Klamath Lake, Lake of the Woods, Fish Lake, Howard Prairie, Seven Lakes Basin and others are all an easy drive from the cabin. Just across the hwy 140 is Crater Lake zip line .The fishing and hunting both in this reigion are like no where else. The Rogue River Valley is just 45 min. away west on Hwy 140. Klamath Falls east on Hwy 140 just 30 min. Have a vacation you will never forget. It truly is God's country. May you love your time there as much as we do. Bring your friends and family or enjoy some alone time, either way it will be a worth while experience. Looking forward to sharing with you this little piece of joy that we found.

God Bless

About Greg and Debi

I grew up in the rogue valley and in my travels working as a self employed logger found this beautiful area known as Rocky Point and fell in love with it. In work, hunting, fishing and living there found some old properties to buy, and made some life long freinds. Now living back in the Rogue Valley wanted to spend some time in Rocky Point again.

Greg and Debi purchased this cabin in 1985

Why Greg and Debi chose Southern Oregon

About early 2012 my sweetie and I decided to fix it up and decorate this cabin, which is now called by are family 'THE CREATIVE CABIN'. It is a labor of love as are family watched this cabin get a face lift, we all started to fall in love with it and now is a place for everyone to feel comfortable, and at home. It has became a place the entire family can go to be together. There are things to do for everyone.

What makes this cabin unique

The outside fire pit is a nightly must, room for everyone to sit and tell stories and laugh under the beautiful sky and crystal clear air.

The cabin is centrally located close to the road, but very quiet. Everything you need is already waiting for you, grab your clothes and favorite play gear. Plan your meals ,bring groceries and beverages. Large grocery store about 30 min. away in Klamath Falls. Small mini mart and liquor store 5 min. away on Hwy 140. This place is so fun. Klamath lake a short drive to boat ramp, best fly fishing around short walk to marsh lands, picture taking and bird watching are excellent. Lake of the Woods and Fish Lake only about 15 min. away just west on Hwy 140 great fishing and good food. There is so much to do, cycling, hiking, riding quads. Staying in and relaxing, kicking back with your sweetie or a group of good friend is hard to beat in this wonderful cabin. Winter at the cabin is so warm and cozy, after spending the day snow mobiling ,hunting, ice fishing or any of the many winter activities. May we all find a place to enjoy all our family together, this is the place.

Rocky point cabin

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, had everything we needed, was warm and cozy. Plenty of fire wood.

Weather was turning very nasty and Debi assured us we did not need to rush off at checkout hour, was concerned about our safety. Thank you Debi!

Great Relaxed Get Away in a bountiful area to explore

  • 4 of 5

Debi & Greg have provided a lovely comfortable well appointed vacation cabin in an extraordinarily beautiful Klamath region. While rustic looking from the outside, the cabin is entirely welcoming in interior, and supplied with everything. My wife and I enjoyed four very restful and content evenings and nights there after day hikes into the nearby Sky Lakes, pastoral glasses of wine or food enjoyed at Rocky Point, only 3 miles away and above the absolutely beautiful Klamath Marsh. The marsh comes complete with Pelicans with 9' wingspans, kayacing trails, and views to steal your heart. There is plenty to do locally within short miles, to Lake of the Woods, Crater Lake, or the headwaters and hiking paths along the Wood River. Mt. MacGlouglin hovers on the horizon above the cabin, which could easily house at least 4 adults and kids, and our Border Collie was completely welcome.

Greg & Debi have done a great job making the cabin homey, and were in easy texting contact for any questions we had. The cabin is set back about 50 yards from the quiet road, with the only draw back being a neighbor's fence bedecked with the kind of political signs one goes to the country to avoid. A little bit of visual buffering would be a useful addition, but in truth the neighbor was no problem, and sitting out on the side porch tending the BBQ, or sipping a beverage after our expeditions was a gift to our senses, as well as viewing a pantheon of stars and the Milkyway of a night before a restful sleep in a wonderfully comfortable bed.

Comfortable Creative Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay, although we spent most of our time at Crater Lake and Lava Beds National Monument. The kitchen was especially well stocked with cooking essentials. We did enjoy the fire pit one evening. There were lots of games and puzzles available, but we were out most of the time and did not need to use these. We were thankful that the cabin was right off a major road and well marked as we arrived late at night. And even though it was off a major road it was very quiet for sleeping. It was a convenient location for visiting both Crater Lake and Lava Beds National Monument. Greg and Debbi were very helpful in their communication with us. We had made our travel plans rather late and we were delighted to find such good accommodations.

A charming, spotlessly clean cabin in a great location

  • 4 of 5

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Creative Cabin. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival, and the inside was charming. My kids enjoyed the large yard (complete with lawn games), and we all enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores and the grill for cooking dinner each night. The location was great, within a reasonable distance of Crater Lake and Lake of the Woods. The house itself is pretty old (floors aren't level, for example), but it was obvious that the owners have put a ton of work into updating the decor. I was also impressed by how well stocked the cabin was. (There were towels and spices.) Overall we were pleased and would definitely stay here again.

Really clean, comfortable, and well appointed

  • 5 of 5

My adult kids ( who live in San Francisco) and I and my dog (in Seattle) had a little family reunion at this cabin. It was so pleasant. There really is pretty much everything you can imagine wanting on a family vacation, from the well-appointed kitchen, to the board game and movie selections, to the clothes washer and dryer. The beds are huge and EXTREMELY comfortable. There is a neighbor across the street with a lot of strident politically-oriented signs on his fence, but we never interacted with him personally, so it wasn't a problem. The cabin is really convenient to Crater Lake National Park, and a not-too-bad drive to Ashland, but there really is nothing near the cabin itself. Be sure to bring ALL the groceries you think you might want -- otherwise it's at least a 30-minute drive back to Klamath Falls! Debi contacted me the day of my arrival to let me know the cabin was ready, and that I should feel free to contact her with any questions or problems. Then she texted me again the next day to let me know of a festival going on that weekend to benefit the fire department there -- so thoughtful. We had a great vacation. You will too!

Delightful cabin and wonderful proprietors

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful family vacation at the Creative Cabin last weekend. It was a very comfortable space for four adults and one dog. Nice movie collection (especially of classic Disney animated films on VHS), functional kitchen, comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed swimming at Lake of the Woods a few minutes down the road, visiting Crater Lake, and perusing the flea market at the Rocky Point summer festival! Perhaps most importantly, Debbie has been a responsive and helpful proprietor -- I forgot an important piece of luggage at the cabin, and she has been super helpful in getting it mailed back to me. :) Thanks for a great stay at your quiet and relaxing cabin!

Rocky Point is a small community located just off Hwy 140 between White City and Klamath Falls. Just a short drive to Crater Lake a great day trip. Arnold Palmer designed golf course Running Y east on Hwy 140 is world renowned. Dinner at Fish Lake is worth the short trip, prime rib that melts in your mouth. Ashland is about a 45 min. drive, a great walk around town and home of the famous Shakespeare plays. Best of all is the crisp clean fresh mountain air to enjoy. Winter through summer it holds a great deal of beauty. Hiking wilderness trails or to the top of Mt. Mcloughlin, wandering the marsh land of Klamath Lake in a canoe, fly fishing or watching the flames of the fire pit under the bright stars of the mountain sky. You will find no place like this to take your family and just have fun.
