This is one of 2 vacation rental apartments (see our sister apartment VRBO # 354752) we offer in a historic Mediterranean 4-plex located in one of Portland’s most lively, walkable and bike-able urban neighborhoods: The Nob Hill/NW Alphabet District. Just 2 to 4 blocks away one-of-a-kind boutiques, fabulous restaurants, charming grocery stores, theatre, nature parks and hiking trails, Portland’s Streetcar and more await your exploration. Also, we are a 5 to 15 minute drive or bike ride to Downtown and the Pearl District as well as a 90 minute drive to either of the beautiful Oregon Coast or to scenic Mount Hood. This rental is not advertised outside of VRBO/HomeAway. Any advertisement outside of VRBO/HomeAway is a false advertisement.

This fully renovated apartment is a perfect blend of charming vintage architecture and modern stylish design. Beautifully maintained and luxuriously appointed, we have done our best to provide you with a home away from home that you will fondly remember and want to come back to.

Entertain guests or simply relax in the charming living room that opens to a delightful dining room with French doors leading to your own large & private mahogany deck overlooking a gorgeous urban garden and offering a charming cityscape view. The apartment boasts a nicely fitted, updated open kitchen; a meticulous bathroom featuring ample thick cotton towels, Molton Brown toiletries and plenty of extra storage. Both bedrooms are serene and comfortable with luxury beds and top of the line linens and pillows.

There are two flat screen televisions - a 49” TV in the living room and a 46” TV in the master bedroom, both with Xfinity cable with specialty channels including HBO and Showtime. High-speed internet and charging stations are provided for your phones, computers and tablets plus portable Bose Bluetooth speakers for your favorite tunes. A washer and dryer are available for your use downstairs.

It is important for you to know that between 10pm and 8am, we expect all of your guests to refrain from making loud noises. If this does not suit your needs or preferences, we regret to have to tell you that this apartment is not the right fit for you.

My brother and I had always admired this building as we would often walk by often and when it came up for sale 25 years ago, we were thrilled to be able to purchase it. Over the years we have received several unsolicited offers on it, but our 4-plex is a place we will always treasure. In fact, just 2 years ago my brother and his wife moved into one of the 4 apartments so they could enjoy urban living at it finest. My partner and I intend to live here some day too!

What makes this apartment unique

I think my favorite thing is it's private garden and charming covered deck. Wonderful for lazy afternoons reading a book or enjoying drinks and dinner.

Excellent Property

We are an Australian couple on an extended driving tour of the USA and Canada. We stayed in this apartment for nine days and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is in beautiful Nob Hill and within easy walking distance of the 21st and 23rd precincts and a short 5-10 minute drive to downtown and the Portland Markets. The Japanese and Rose Gardens are virtually up the hill - 5 minute drive.

Parking is restricted from 25th down with a maximum 4 hours during the day. This did not bother us as we were out for most of the day returning mid afternoon when there were plenty of spaces available. We did a lot of our own cooking in the well equipped kitchen. It has a comfortable large lounge area with a great wide screen TV system - cable, youtube, Netflix and a huge range of free on demand movies. WiFi was excellent. A Safeway supermarket is a short drive down Lovejoy St. and Trader Joes within a longish walk or very short drive. There is also a Chevron gas station close by. There were no hassles getting access when we arrived in heavy rain after a long drive from Port Townsend WA - we parked right in front of the front door and the instructions for entry were very clear.

Highly recommend this property.

Perfectly wonderful stay!!!

The apartment was clean, well appointed and made for a very comfortable stay. I was worried that parking might be difficult, but it never was during our entire week's stay. Great coffee shop, ice cream and restaurants within walking distance. Would stay there again if we ever return.

Perfect lodging, perfect location

For our recent vacation in Portland, we opted for a vacation rental rather than a hotel. So glad we did! This unit is beautiful, full of charm and character, and the linens, amenities, etc., are top notch, luxury hotel level. The unit is in a small, quiet building, parking was easy, and the best part is the location so close to shopping and GREAT restaurants within easy walking distance. Stepping Stone was awesome local diner, great for breakfast. Fireside was a cozy, hip restaurant we enjoyed, but really, finding great food is not an issue. Owners of condo were gracious and helpful. Highly recommend this rental.

Great location and fantastic place!

This was our 2nd year at this location. That apartment was immaculate and well-stocked and the location couldn't be better! Parking was a breeze - even having to move the car (parking restrictions) was easy. The only complaint was that the master bed mattress was really firm (compared to the downstairs unit last year) but overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back next year! Highly recommend this unit to anyone visiting Portland!
