This is one of 2 vacation rental apartments (see our sister apartment VRBO # 354752) we offer in a historic Mediterranean 4-plex located in one of Portland’s most lively, walkable and bike-able urban neighborhoods: The Nob Hill/NW Alphabet District. Just 2 to 4 blocks away one-of-a-kind boutiques, fabulous restaurants, charming grocery stores, theatre, nature parks and hiking trails, Portland’s Streetcar and more await your exploration. Also, we are a 5 to 15 minute drive or bike ride to Downtown and the Pearl District as well as a 90 minute drive to either of the beautiful Oregon Coast or to scenic Mount Hood. This rental is not advertised outside of VRBO/HomeAway. Any advertisement outside of VRBO/HomeAway is a false advertisement.

This fully renovated apartment is a perfect blend of charming vintage architecture and modern stylish design. Beautifully maintained and luxuriously appointed, we have done our best to provide you with a home away from home that you will fondly remember and want to come back to.

Entertain guests or simply relax in the charming living room that opens to a delightful dining room with French doors leading to your own large & private mahogany deck overlooking a gorgeous urban garden and offering a charming cityscape view. The apartment boasts a nicely fitted, updated open kitchen; a meticulous bathroom featuring ample thick cotton towels, Molton Brown toiletries and plenty of extra storage. Both bedrooms are serene and comfortable with luxury beds and top of the line linens and pillows.

There are two flat screen televisions - a 49” TV in the living room and a 46” TV in the master bedroom, both with Xfinity cable with specialty channels including HBO and Showtime. High-speed internet and charging stations are provided for your phones, computers and tablets plus portable Bose Bluetooth speakers for your favorite tunes. A washer and dryer are available for your use downstairs.

It is important for you to know that between 10pm and 8am, we expect all of your guests to refrain from making loud noises. If this does not suit your needs or preferences, we regret to have to tell you that this apartment is not the right fit for you.

My brother and I had always admired this building as we would often walk by often and when it came up for sale 25 years ago, we were thrilled to be able to purchase it. Over the years we have received several unsolicited offers on it, but our 4-plex is a place we will always treasure. In fact, just 2 years ago my brother and his wife moved into one of the 4 apartments so they could enjoy urban living at it finest. My partner and I intend to live here some day too!

What makes this apartment unique

I think my favorite thing is it's private garden and charming covered deck. Wonderful for lazy afternoons reading a book or enjoying drinks and dinner.

This is a beautifully maintained older apartment with all the modern conveniences. It is very clean and extremely well appointed from the shampoo to the sheets and towels! We easily found street parking half a block away and settled in without a hitch thanks to the detailed directions provided. Perfectly located within a pretty community near shops and restaurants. What a gem - we will not hesitate to recommend it to our friends or stay there again in the future. One of the best vacation properties we’ve ever rented!

Great location!

The location was perfect for a long weekend in Portland! We loved walking to coffee every morning and sitting out on the balcony with a glass of wine. The apartment was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Parking was a little tricky since the apartment is surrounded by 4 hour parking only, but we were able to make it work without too much of an issue. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful Apartment!

My husband and I booked this apartment for a week, and loved it! The apartment is comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated, complete with lovely works of art. It was very hot in Portland when we arrived, so the air conditioning was really appreciated. When a wildfire broke out nearby (and kept us from seeing the gorge) the air was smoky so it was nice to just hang out and not be cramped like we would be in a hotel room. We didn't really cook, just had breakfasts there, but the kitchen is well equipped and the dining room looks out to the deck and big trees. The bed and linens are high quality.

There are excellent restaurants and shops within walking distance on 23rd Avenue, and the streetcar, which is just 2 blocks away, goes downtown and connects with other transportation. The neighborhood is full of beautiful homes and big trees, so it is quiet and restful.

When I had questions Siobhan was very helpful and was always available. Thanks Siobhan for the great service!! If we come back to Portland this would be our first choice for lodging.

Perfect choice for our Portland stay!

Couldn't have been happier! The unit is in a PERFECT location to everything and aside from a few UBER rides to more distant locations, we walked everywhere, including downtown and the Saturday Market. There are lots of great shops and restaurants on 23rd Ave, just two blocks away and the neighborhood itself is lovely! The unit is spotless and felt spacious. We appreciated the cans of soda in the frig when we arrived and the high quality sheets, towels and mattresses. Kathy responded very quickly to my calls, both prior to our trip and once we arrived in Portland. We would 100% stay here again when we return to Portland!

Simply Wonderful!

We were blown away by the level to detail the owners have put restoring this beautiful vintage building and equally happy with care & consideration they put into making sure our every need would be met during our stay.

Everything we could ever need or want during our stay was provided - the unit was well stocked, clean, comfortable, beautiful and a great location.

We will definitely stay here everytime we visit Portland
