The place was good for the price

  • 4 of 5

This was our home for 5 nights in Tahoe. We shared it with another family.

Unfortunately things started off on the wrong foot when we arrived at 4pm and the place had not been cleaned. We had to call the owner and wait for the cleaning ladies to arrive. The owner did recitify this situation with us.

I also had issues when I noticed they don't change the comforter or top pillows each time there is a new guest. I had to change the pillows myself and if I wanted a fresh comforter, I would have to wash my own. The last negative is that the place is old and outdated. The couches need to be replaced bad. We ended up using sheets over the couches the entire stay. They felt itchy and uncomfortable. The last issue is that if anyone moves upstairs you will hear is loudly downstairs. It's loud enough to wake me up and I am not a light sleeper.

Aside from the negatives, the location was fantastic. The property was nice and they have a nice pool across the street. We also loved the proximity to everything in North Lake.

The best part of our trip was when we saw a wild bear near the poolhouse. It made it such a magical stay for my kids.

Enjoyed our stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place that would comfortably accommodate five adults and three children for several days. This condo was perfect. Although it's part of a fairly sizable complex, we never felt crowded or bothered by the presence of others.

The location is ideal. Good access to those activities and facilities in which we were interested.

We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again if we return to the area.

Perfect place for two families

  • 5 of 5

We had two families stay at this condo last week (4 adults, 4 kids ranging from 18 months-8 years of age), and it was perfect for us. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was situated within a short driving distance to everything in the North Lake Tahoe area, including a market that was just down the street. The kids loved the loft area, and we all thought the condo was comfortable and well-maintained. Lynn was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire booking process. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful!

This rental was the perfect size for our family. We attended a wedding at the Kings Beach event center, and it was the perfect distance away.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review. When I saw your profile picture with everyone wearing hard hats, you certainly didn;t look like a wild party group. Lynn Dunbar

Great accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Our two families of 4 enjoyed our stay at this condo. The spacious 3 story layout was great and provided some separation so we didn't feel on top of one another. Very clean with plenty of towels and well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

There are many beaches maintained by the NTPUD. The closest is a small beach located 3/4 mile down the hill across the street from Safeway groceries; nice grassy area for picnicing , and Kings Beach Public Beach. Tahoe Vista's beach facilties have just been refurbished.

One of my favorites for a full day at the beach is Sandy Point—East on HWY 28 to Incline Village. Sandy Point has a large beach area with many concessions. On scheduled evenings they perform Shakespeare on the stage at Sandy Point.

Visit The North Tahoe Regional Park with playgrounds, tennis courts, picnic areas (including BBQs), trails & athletic fields. Fun place to take the kids.

There is rafting and tubing on the Truckee River.

For those of you who like to gamble, State Line is a few miles east on HWY 28. We recommend Crystal Bay Club. Biltmore Casino has an inexpensive restaurant.

Restaurants abound. The best in KB are Jasons, Steamers (for pizza) and Lanzas. The Old Post Office has great breakfasts. Many good restaurants between KB and Tahoe City. Garwoods in Carnelian Bay has good food & beautiful views. Enjoy.
