Beautiful Inside and Out!

  • 5 of 5

After a week of intense business meetings we really needed to de-stress. This was the perfect place to do it! We sat outside for happy hour, dinner and morning coffee each day, watching the deer, elk and other wildlife around the lake.

And inside! The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and it was totally quiet and peaceful. We slept like babies!

We've stayed in several VRBO properties across the country and this is definitely our favorite!

Every comfort addressed

  • 5 of 5

The 'cottage' is actually separate guest quarters built below the owner's main beautiful home. Separate covered patio, walkway, barbeque/grill, al fresco dining and lounge area. Grounds are fabulous with a direct view of the small lake, pine trees, and small, created waterfall/stream. Inside the furnishings are very attractive and very comfortable . . . even down to the luxury linens. Owner has considered and provided everything we could have wanted to ensure our convenience and comfort. Would definitely recommend . . . however, be advised walkway to the cottage entrance is a bit steep, a little uneven, and includes a couple of deep steps. There is also a tall step into both the bedroom area and the kitchen area proper. If you have a problem with your knees or your balance, you may want to consider another property. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely Cottage

  • 5 of 5

100% recommend this cottage, everything is as promised in the listing plus more. Jill and Bill are excellent VRBO hosts, thank you for all you have provided to make our visit pleasant and relaxing. Enjoyed morning coffee on the porch watching the hummingbirds drink and bathe in the koi pond, also caught a few glances of the eagle :)

Cottage Get-A-Way MUST stay!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was the perfect weekend get-a-way! Quiet, clean, comfortable, relaxing, hidden, romantic, perfect in every way! I may not want to say that as I may never get to stay there again. The owners (who openly greeted us upon our arrival) have thought of every detail from the canoe on the lake, pillows for the hammock, extra pillows for the bed, local coffee, condiments in the frig., binoculars, etc. We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to return! Thank you!

Exactly as stated in the profile

  • 5 of 5

You won't be disappointed with this one. Relaxing, great decor, nice neighborhood, large porch with swing, beautiful view, close enough to dining, etc. I personally enjoyed the daily hawks, eagles, herons, and ducks cruising around the lake. Jill and Bill were excellent hosts. They got us acquainted with the place and then let us enjoy it in peace. If we're back in flagstaff we will definitely book this again.

Located in the mountains of northern Arizona, Flagstaff is not the Arizona experience you may expect. Visitors can choose the season and the adventure that best fits their travel style. History buffs will delight in the Route 66 nostalgia and the museums and attractions dedicated to Flagstaff's Native American culture and Old West Legacy. Those who like to hit the town will have a hard time choosing between all of the locally-owned shops, restaurants and galleries in historic downtown. Depending on the time of year, outdoor enthusiasts have hundreds of miles of trails to explore on foot, bike, horse, skis and snowboard. You will learn about a storied past full of pioneers and scientific discovery, and be inspired to hike, bike, climb, ski and play among our beautiful stand of Ponderosa pines. We invite you to turn this inspiration into a reality and experience Arizona's premier mountain town but with the Grand Canyon just 70 miles away.
